47. Growing an army, one Unit at a time.

After dismissing the latest editions to Silver's city, her focus shifts back to her original goal, A new Unit. 'Hmmm...the machine in the memory fragment was a large machine, almost like a bear...mmmhm so I will adhere to its image...plus some upgrades...' She thinks, before flooding the chamber with mana, allowing it to manipulate the the armored plates, and power cores,as time passes, the pieces fit together and shape into the image in silver's mind. A massive bear, with layers of armor instead of one functioning piece, allowing flexible and fluid motion, different than the previous lumbering but fast variant. The process is slow, but shows a methodology to it.adding three power cores ensures a redundant supply, while ensuring damaging a core doesn't knock the unit out of a fight, adding sensor systems, and an interconnected computer system, though this is taking up far more space than the similar suite as Tyr, it has its place making this one having the nesaary processing power for a true artificial intelligence in such a machine. Eventually after hours of constant construction, the skeletal structure and most of the body had taken form, seeing the gaps of space remaining inside the body, silver is stuck, thinking of what weapons to equip on the beast of a machine. 'Hmm, personally I think a solid twin or quad system would be solid, maybe high explosive cannons? No it wont be too effective for its tanking and support role...oh chain guns! Can never go wrong with those hen, but man they are going to chew through mana.' Thinking that, she ignores her better judgment, opting for the accuracy by volume doctrine that she has sort of adopted, albeit unintentionally. Slowly, weapons from the massive pile fly out, four massive chain guns, usually these are each mounted as a main weapon on armored vehicles, but for this massive war machine, they just barely look right with the size. keeping the turret somewhat low profile, she works on the mounting and barrel placements, eventually getting a staggered setup up two narrow top and two wider bottom, allowing the chain belts to stay inside the turret, preventing damage to its ammo supply. Now with that, she adds computer sights, and ammunition storages allowing it to have an independent supply, saving silver from strictly feeding it mana while it fires, though this process will consume far more mana when summoned, she doesn't mind as it will be a monstrous force, the armor as thick and layered as a true tank, if not more, and the self repair function of the mana cast? A force to be reckoned indeed. Finishing up the turret a sleek long design, shielding most of the guns except the barrel and casing exits. Silver works on the head now, shaping it much like a bear's face and muzzle, the optical eyes currently dead and empty, much like the machine. But once complete, silver holds out her metal hand. What slowly takes form is the illusory metal plate that had an uncanny image of silver etched on it, the soul fragment of the machine she helped. Using mana, she moves it deep into the machine, pushing it into the artificial intelligence. Once she can feel the shard fully disappear from her mana's grasp, Silver covers the whole machine in mana, letting it slowly imprint into her, creating a new construct within her system. Finally, the true force of a creation class making its terrifying presence felt. Taking over an hour to fully save the machine. Once it does, the version she had made first, dissolves into mana breaking apart and vanishing. 'Ding!' Upon hearing her system make a notification sound, she opens her menu, finding the notification of a newly created construct. With a smirk, and a wave of her hand, and the sacrifice of several thousand mana, the new machine forms in front of her, but now, several new things had happened when it formed, etched deep into the armor on its head, the armored fox, and on each arm the fox appeared as well, though it gives more of an air of a cunning or mischievous fox. And a name just under it, filled with mana channels causing it to glow purple in the dim light. ENYO is the name, seeing this silver smiles before speaking to it, watching as some form of life enters the eyes of the machine. "Welcome enyo, its good to finally meet you...well alive anyway." The Huge metal beast moves, lowering it head, its eyes tracking silver as it does, a feminine voice calm, but clearly mechanical speaks from it. "And it is good to serve once more. Silver, my savior..." Hearing this, silver reaches out her metal hand, petting the beast's head softly. "I took the liberty to keep the bear like image, i hope you don't mind being larger than before?" Getting a head nudge before a reply from the beast. "Not at all, in fact, I can sense you took great care in my Armor! And the redundant power is impressive! By all accounts I am superior now!" Hearing this, silver laughs tapping the beast lightly. "That's good! From today onward, you shall be my shield, no matter the kingdom that shall grace our presence, they will know my shield stands strong and fierce!" At the end, the beast lets out a gutteral roar, though mechanical, it seems oddly fitting for it. A new life has been born, a new War machine to add to Silver's growing army. 'One day...My forces will make this world tremble, they will flee, they will beg...they will fall.'
