50. Don't toy with your prey

micah's grasp on the two thugs remained steady, despite their attempts to struggle. Despite not having as high of stats in every category like silver, he makes up for it in strength. The goon squad leader, not being so bright to realize the class difference gets pissed, moving as if to attack micah, whom only tightens his grip around the goons heads. And before before anyone can even rear back for an attack, the screams start, micah's grip strength slowly crushing their skulls, startling the group. All they can do is watch, as those unlucky duo struggle and scream a blood curdling sound, but it ends as abruptly as it started. Their limbs falling to their sides, the screams ending on the sickening sound of bone crunching audibly, it seemed just as loud as the screams. At first, no one moves, until micah drops their corpses, their blood and brain matter dripping from his hands, but as if their hearts were set ablaze, and their mind forgetting what just happened, the small time gang moves, some drawing daggers and swords, a few rifles, pistols, crossbows, even a few wands appear, but did they really think it would be enough against him? With an all too familiar ease, one that makes silver's parent's shiver, despite them also drawing weapons to join the fray, though unnecessary, Micah collides with the group, tossing the odd one into the concrete roof, the sound of bones shattered audible despite the roar, only to catch a dagger that was thrown from the side, a smirk riding micah's lips. "Come on! If this id all you've got how can you be a gang?!" He taunts, slamming his foot into one of the warriors, whom had a warhammer, the kick sending him flying across the car park to slam violently into the back of a parked truck, whether it was the hitch or the impact breaking every bone in this ones body, he doesn't even let out a moan before he is dead. Now a third of the group killed and he hasn't even taken them seriously yet. Terra, Silver's mother, lets loose and arrow that's covered in tiny intricate runes that glow faintly in the light, as it whips past micah, punching through one of the wand users in the back making a very noticeable hole right above their sternum, hitting the jugular dip. Seeing this, Micah laughs, despite grappling with two more warriors, one of his hands firmly gripping the edge of what is very clearly a low quality, and low maintenance sword, the edge not even digging into his roughly palm as snatched the sword away, tossing it to the side. Before this warrior has a chance to react micah punched out, he fist finding the warriors jaw with ease, shattering it into pieces, his lower face nothing more than a bloody sack of meat and shattered bone, before shoving the axe head back towards the other, the blade smashing through the warriors low tier armor and embedding past the handle in its own wielders chest, making micah choff, the audacity of this weaklings to try robbing him, turning only to see silver's father Aideen, using two long daggers to slash through a swordsman and gunner like they are just practice dummies. 'And silver is the engineered one?' Is a thought that passes through his mind as he catches the last one, a guy using a long pole arm to try attacking Terra, only to toss him as if they were insignificant out the tiny carport window, the sound of impacts on the window edges ignored since no screams were heard. With that, micah doesn't other cleaning the mess, leaving it for the city body to take care of before packing up his fresh boxes happily, ignoring the massive blood stained hand prints on all the crates before climbing in the driver seat, terra and Aideen following suite. "So, I see why you and Silver get along so well." Terra says,an exhausted sigh leaving her, despite having barely been in a fight. "And why is that?" Micah asks, glancing at her as he pulls out, leaving the city with their full haul. "How about your penchant for violence? Or the fact both of you are monsters in your own way?" Aideen says, huffing a bit, the adrenaline having not quite left him. "Hey! Speak for yourself, I see where silver gets her battle analysis from!" Micah says, only teasing them. Though, before he gets anymore snide remarks, he turns on the radio, his playlist starting with his current favorite, and a well known one which encites laughter from the parents. The song, ashes, by an artist named astella. "Oooh, and your music compliments eachother, was that on purpose or just happened to be the case?" Terra asks, her eyes and mind, far sharper than she lets it appear though they've been quite quiet lately around their daughter, whom has lost that tiny edge of innocence she had, now having a feeling of a predator waiting for a good reason. "Huh? Whatcha mean?" Micah asks, confused, since he often finds himself surfing different city's medias for new songs, he doesn't know what they are referring to. "Oh come on boy! Silver's theme song is pomegranate lips!...the first lyrics are, Picked me like a flower, didn't expect the thorns! And your top song is ashes, which starts like...Now that i got a taste, I think ill suffocate for every second you aren't by my side, do you not see how well your two music choices compliment each other? I know silver and her dense head may not see it, but we've been married out of love long before silver had been around, and yes we have our own playlist too!" Silver's parents boast proudly at the end. And like that, the drive back is filled with music, laughter, stories, and the parent's finally hearing more of silver's exploits, the ones she snuck out at night or for weekends at a time when growing up.
