Hours passed before the police seemed satisfied with Ed's answers. They walked along the property but not one of them went in, even after looking at the small opening that was created by Ed and Mills.

Mills was already at the hospital in emergency surgery, his whole family was there already as the hospital contacted them. Now Ed was walking home as dawn broke. It was a beautiful sight that Ed was trying to bask in to wash away the recent horrible memories.

The colors radiated a bright hue with many different variations. Looking at the sun Ed couldn't help but think about his future. He wasn't sure how long he could keep going just exploring abandoned places, he needed something more. Grabbing his phone he started to look more deeply into horror, exploration, and conspiracy communities. Using these three things as his filters for the content he wanted to watch, Ed eventually wandered home. A giant building with the title Housing C 23 was the name of his home.

He quickly went to his room and started to scroll on his computer with the same filters. He found out about a lot of new monsters, cryptids, scary videos, a bunch of new stuff, until he came upon something familiar. Something called a skin walker, a cryptid that can copy voices to lure you into a forest and eat you. Ed's heart raced as he thought about the experience he went through at Mill's Grandmas. It was almost the exact same thing that happened to them.

Relief washed through Ed's body as he had evidence that he at least believed, was good. It wasn't much and the skin walker may not even exist, but the fact that so many people have experienced this and reported it online was the phenomena that interested Ed.

Ed was now interested in all those things but he was still thinking about what he just went through. After calling in and checking on his friend with his family and giving them the same lies as the police Ed started to do some research. He looked up huge fires and the building's address to find anything. He then looked up peoples names that he read in the logs that he could remember. Almost all of these people were missing, or pronounced dead. Ed went on an information gathering spree.

He looked up skin walkers, hugefoot, sea monsters, cave explorations gone wrong, cop corruption, creatures caught on camera, government corruption, and as he was about to type in gnomes he got a notification on his desktop. It said you have been banned for 12 hours by Aurora Ai, no reason stated. Ed's eyes bulged as he couldn't believe what he was reading. He was banned from everything on the internet by an advanced Ai which is controlled by the city aka the government.

Although this threw a monkey wrench in his plans to research he now had time to sleep. His mind raced with crazy thoughts as he tried to fall asleep. Ed woke up and the sky was black, it just turned dawn as he went to bed so he knew more than 12 hours had passed. Quickly getting up and checking the share your spooks website Ed started his information gathering but more low key. He looked through people profiles and got invested in a few stories but the videos seemed unauthentic or not provable.

This was the case until he looked up the key words interesting, mysterious, adventurous, horror and a few others and after a few hours of these filters and scrolling he found something. It was a post titled "Update 23, 2 more people can join for the next expedition."

Looking into this profile he looked at the name AJ Bastovich, he was 33, a wealthy business person, and a self-called adventurer. He has cave and mountain climbing permits with other certificates proving his experience in the field of exploration.

More importantly than him himself was his experiences that he has been logging into his profile. The first log starts with him already knowledgeable of this place he found inside a popular superstore called QuoHogs. It literally has everything on sale for customers that you could think of.

It continues with a disclaimer about how this is the truth and the people can believe whatever they want to believe, but then goes into an unbelievable tale about how he entered a world that was seemingly the superstore but much larger. He went through a huge complicated story about how he never noticed a worker ever enter a specific aisle on the store, and how he followed vague wrong looking mirrors aisle to aisle. He was purposely vague about everything and you could tell he wasn't telling the whole story.

After he got through many explanations he eventually explained the mega superstore world. He described the world as randomly generated by a computer going for the theme of the superstore. Many different things sounded unreal to Ed about his stories in this place. In the later updates he explains how people could die and other dangers, but it was weird to Ed as he shouldn't know these things unless he's seen people die to them.

No pictures or video were taken by AJ as he claims cameras don't work, this was something that made Ed suspicious and it also made him want to do more digging into AJ's story.

Ed sat there for hours going through his stories and he had to say that he was pretty confident this is probably not real, but scrolling back to the top post he again saw the invitation to join him, AJ Bostavitch, on his next expedition into the mega store as he calls it. Ed's heart pounded as he typed up a message with his information to AJ explaining who he was and that he wanted to see the truth, with other questions.

Closing down the computer for the day Ed was starving and started to make some noodles. As he was eating a chime rang from his phone. It was the share your spooks app on his phone notifying him that he had a message.
