The last weekend of February 2016 marked the grand opening of the 88th Oscar ceremony.
This edition sparked much more buzz than usual with controversies related to African Americans and diversity affecting the whole of America.
In front of the Dolby Theatre, both fans and media reporters were present in greater numbers than at the previous ceremony.
In the media zone, Martin, who had come alone, was being interviewed.
"You are the front-runner for Best Actor, according to all major media predictions," asked David Gru from ABC, "Do you feel confident about winning?"
Martin smiled, "The Oscar is a fair competition, everyone who is nominated has a chance to win, and I hope Lady Luck will favor me."
Soon after, more people entered the media area.
Martin didn't stay long and went straight into the Dolby Theatre.
Mene approached from one side, greeting, "Boss."
Martin gave him a quick look-over and said, "You look a lot tougher, kid."
