SORROWFUL MOMENT

Seeing at how happy Trion and his mom were never left Araxie's heart the same.

She could've felt good for uniting a mother and son but it wasn't a case for her, instead she was feeling strangely sad as she was missing her mother so much after so many years.

She used to miss her but that time, it was too much for her to hold back.

Nothing in the world could convince her other than crying all her sorrow out.

Meanwhile Trion looked around for Araxie in the room and when he couldn't see her, he quickly sensed that she might be in the room bobbing up and down for what she had done for him but to his shock, he couldn't believe his eyes when he noticed that she was crying while hiding in the corridor to the bathroom.

"Araxie dear... Y-you are crying! What happened."Trion asked curiously.

"Ahh... it's nothing."

"No. I can clearly see that these aren't tears of joy. You seem hurt. Tell me please. Don't hide it from me dear. You know I can't bear seeing you cry like this. It bothers me a lot."

"I'm sorry Trion.

It's not that I'm feeling jealous or what...

I just don't know why I missed my own mother when I saw you and your mother hugging each other.

I miss her so much. I wish she were here with me right now so she could see how magically my life has changed!

Most importantly I wish she were not human. Maybe I would've found a way to revive her as well. But what can I do when I don't have that chance.

It hurts me so much whenever I remember that I won't ever see her again.

I was still a little kid but her face and her fine looks.. they're some things I would never forget no matter what life throws to my memory.

My mother was so soft hearted that she treated everyone with respect and love.

She was so kind to everyone but fate didn't think twice before snatching her life at a very young age."Araxie was crying while talking to Trion. They both had no idea that Tia was listening to their conversation.

"I'm sorry to intervene but this concerns me since my daughter is crying. Araxie dear, I'm very sorry that I've brought back those memories which you've been busy fighting for years.

I'm so sorry that I've made you cry on my first day here."

"W-what are you saying ma'am. You know you haven't done anything wrong so why are you apologising.

"It's okay dear. Anyways... I just came here to thank you once again for giving me another chance to be with my family. You really can't imagine how happy I am after meeting my family again.

I still don't know how to thank you enough!

Because of you I have the love of my life again. I've ever heard that you're the one who got him from the comma.

I really don't know what I did to deserve a wonderful daughter in-law like you.

You know what, I'll forever be grateful to you."

Before Araxie knew it, Tia was shedding tears as well.

Perhaps she needed to stop crying so that Tia would stop as well and that was what she did.

Meanwhile, Marina too had listened to the entire conversation but before she could go inside to comfort Araxie, Casey grabbed her hand stopping her from going in.

"What do you think you're doing Mother.

Araxie is hurt right now, the memories of her mother are back to haunt her and now, you think it's the right time to show your face to her?

Don't forget that you're responsible for her pain. You took away her mom's life remember. I suggest you should wait until she calms down and then you can shower her with all your love, right Mom?"

"Thank you so much dear. But I don't think Araxie will ever forgive me.

Devouring her mother was a biggest mistake of my life, don't you think?"

"I think you should get some rest. You'll talk to her tomorrow.

And why would you bring back the past. I think you should just let it be. I was thinking if you could arrange something like a surprise for her tomorrow."

"I think you're right..

Yes, tomorrow is the night of the blue moon.

Whoever makes a wish beforehand, it comes true the next day. I must do this for her. I've given her so much pain but not anymore!

The day is tomorrow when I'll make her sorrow and pain disappear."

"Tell me what you're planning at least Mother."Casey said.

"Have patience my child.

I'm sorry that I'm going to act selfish this time too but trust me, it'd be for Araxie's happiness.

I'm sure seeing my face everyday is something that would always remind her of what I did long time ago."

"At least tell me what you intend to do. I'll help you."Casey assured little did she know that her mother was planning on doing something hilarious the next day.

Marina was planning on committing suicide as she thought it was the only way to end Araxie's pain which wasn't true anyway.

Araxie had erased all grudges she once had against her step mom, Marina and maybe she made a mistake by not telling her directly that she was no more angry with her!

The beautiful morning came with a partly blue and white sun which was an indication that it would be a blue moon that night itself.

In the evening, Tia and Araxie were busy preparing dinner for everyone since they had asked the servants to give them the kitchen for a moment. It had been a while since Tia prepared her super delicious meals for those who knew her before.

The rest were in their rooms when they heard Casey shouting for help, at the top of her lungs!

They had thought that maybe she was undergoing labor pains but only to find her in pools of blood as she held her mom's half dead body.

Marina could hardly breathe nor was she able to utter out anything.

Looking angrily shocked, Araxie collapsed to the ground where she hit her head so hard on rocky pevors.

Without minding about her own pain, she crawled to reach her mother ( Marina) but strangely Casey yelled at her to stop.

"Don't dare touch her!"she said which left everyone confused as why she was doing that when earlier they were both on good terms with each other.

"W-what's the matter babe.

Why are you doing this? She's like a mother to her. Please let her touch her once."Neel tried convincing Casey but nothing worked.

"She's the reason my mother is in this state. You're a murderer Araxie....

You've killed my mother! Aaahhhahha..."Casey cried and soon everyone joined but unfortunately... none of their tears was enough to stop Marina from dying and the last words she uttered out were, A.. Araxie dear, c-check my letter please."And the moment she completed her sentence, she took her last breath.

Araxie got up to go get the letter as she hoped to find it somewhere in her mom's room since she wasn't specific on where exactly she left it.

Not only Araxie, Casey too was curious to find out what was in that letter.

She wished she could know the reason behind her mom's decision and maybe, she'd use it as some kind of proof against Araxie.

So she ran straight to her once mom's room where she found a well folded white paper and quickly opened it to read.

"Araxie my dear,

I know I've only given you suffering though you never complained.

I can't stand watching you suffer because I know that no matter what I do, I'll never make you forget the pain I put you through.

Last night I failed to sleep after seeing how hurtful you looked. I thought of something that could make you forget about the past and then I realized that only punishing myself would set everything right again.

I'm sorry that I've broken my promise that I made to both you and Casey recently but don't worry cos I'll be watching over you all day and all night.

I don't want you to feel guilty about this because no one has forced me to do it.

It's how I've decided to punish myself. Perhaps you'll be able to move on after spending some time without seeing my face that would remind you that I devoured your precious Mother.

I hope you'll forgive me child.

"May you keep happy always. I feel bad that I've gone before your wedding but trust me when I say that I'll be with you always and as for your wedding, I'll be standing right next to you only that you won't notice me and I won't eat your meals.

"D-do you see. Do you still deny that you haven't killed her, huhh?

What other proof do you want to accept that you've really killed her.

I want my mother back please Araxie.

I don't care what you'll do or not, I just want my mom."Casey cried while Neel confirmed her.

Crying that much wasn't healthy for both her and unborn child.
