As Araxie and her sister Casey were having a womanly conversation outside, Trion, Neel and his twin brother Andie were also talking about something manly.
In fact Andie was confessing his love for Aurora and the two of them were telling him how he should confront her and tell her how he felt about her.
TRION'S POV
"Talking about approaching a woman for confession sounded a little bit awkward to Trion's ears since he never gone through that much to show Araxie that he loved her.
Letters made it easier for him.
Looking at how shy Andie was, Trion could relate that's why he suggested Andie should go in for letters perhaps Sara won't find out what's going on between the two and that way she wouldn't be hurt.
But would Andie agree to this? Trion hoped he would.
Anyway the visit went so well and the three of them went back home with broad smiles on their faces.
They were welcomed by Aurora and Sara who had stood by the gate since sunset waiting for them to return home.
It looked like they had a surprise for them and indeed they had one.
In their absence, His Highness, Tia, Judith and everyone had combined their ideas and came up with a wonderful and amazingly designed wedding card that would be printed for Trion and Araxie's wedding which was to take place the next month.
"Isn't it pretty?"Aurora asked while handing over to Araxie who seemed lost in thoughts on looking at the card.
Soon tears streamed down her pretty face.
"What's the matter dear? It's okay if you didn't like it. We'll consider your ideas too. We're sorry that we didn't ask for your opinions on this- it's just that we wanted to surprise you."Tia quickly explained.
"Why are you saying all this. I like the card. It's very beautiful. Maybe these are tears of joy. I'm so happy."
"You can hide your pain from anyone else but you can't hide it from me, Araxie. These aren't tears of joy. I'm sure it has to be something to do with your mother.
You wish she were here to marry you off and witness your wedding, right?"Mrs Judith pointed which left Araxie breaking down.
"H-how did you know? Do you read minds too?"she asked with a shocked expression on her face.
"I've watched you grow up till now, at least I can tell from what I know about you so far. I can tell when you're troubled and when you're not.
I can tell when you're faking a smile for the sake of other's happiness and when you're smiling sincerely.
I know the looks that you put on when you're thinking about your mother and when you're thinking about something else.
I know you very well my dear and that's because I see you as my own daughter."Judith said and before she realized, Araxie had embraced her in a tight hug.
"Thank you so much ma'am. You have no idea how this means to me.
But... I don't think I will ever address you with this ridiculous title, Mom.
I've lost two moms so far and I don't want to lose you too. Maybe it's my bad luck that whoever I decide to call Mom has to leave this world.
So.... I beg you to forgive me for not calling you so."
"W-what are you saying dear. Don't say such things please. You don't have any misfortunes. And if you do then I'm more than ready to die as well."Judith insisted which forced Araxie to walk away and ran straight to her room.
Hmmmm! So my darling wife is crying once again.
Hey, stop crying otherwise you'll just ruin your earlier memories with your sister.
I'm sorry that despite possessing all these powers I can't do anything for you.
I wish I could do something for you."Trion cried as well.
"I'm so unfortunate. First my biological mother was snatched from me and then, when I took Marina like my mother and accepted her wholeheartedly, she committed suicide. What else is left to happen.
Now none of my two mothers would witness my wedding- that's what pains me."
Hearing her say all that, Trion quickly rubbed off his tears and it looked like he had thought of something to do about the situation.
What would he do?
"Where are you going!"Araxie called after gathering herself together but it was already late and Trion never looked back or said anything to her. She thought he went to sleep in his bedroom but to their shock, they realized he wasn't at home the next morning when he wasn't seen anywhere.
Everyone got so worried when they couldn't trace his whereabouts of which they found to be strange.
"What is he up to now. I wonder what was so urgent that he couldn't wait for morning to come!"king Beryl wondered after trying countless times to get a clue about his son's whereabouts but in vain.
Perhaps he went back to Akira Sea. Maybe something urgent arose in there since there was nothing more important than his merpeople's well being.
They all felt a little relieved knowing that Tia's predictions would be right.
A week later, they all fell speechless on setting her eyes on someone who died before their very own eyes.
It was Marina. She had come carrying Trion who was badly injured and his wounds still fresh.
"H-how's this possible.
Marina is back!"the servants who were looking like they had seen a ghost mumbled but Araxie could hear it all.
"Mother!"Everyone seemed to be scared of Marina except for Araxie who quickly hugged her in a tight hug that was filled with lots of longing.
"I'm sorry child.
I didn't know that your fiance would go through all this to bring me back."she quickly apologized.
"Thank you for bringing him over.
Araxie dear, please don't worry because he's going to be fine and before you know it, his wounds would be no more."Tia who was attending to her son's wounds assured.
"I heard about what happened between you and Casey.
Oh, time flies indeed. I can't believe five months have elapsed since my death and a lot has happened.
Now I've realized that a lot can change in a day.
I'm sorry once again that you and your sister had to separate because of my silly and selfish decision.
I never thought about you two and how each of you would be affected by it - I just did what I thought was right having no idea that I was ruining it all for both of you. Sorry."Marina found herself apologizing as many times as possible.
