Chapter 25: A Midnight Rendezvous

Lucien sat at his desk, a flickering candle casting a yellow glow across the room. He carefully penned his thoughts onto the paper, his hand trembling slightly with anticipation. Each stroke of the quill carried his longing, his hopes, and his desires.

"My dear Blaise,

I cannot begin to express my longing to be with you. The days without you by my side feel so empty. Know that I adore you with all my heart, and am making plans for us to be together again.

My Aunt Sonia sent a letter to my father, and this got me thinking - she has a nice house in the country, but she lives there alone. She has always been generous and open-minded. So, without my father's knowledge, I sent her a letter asking if we could stay at her house for a while. We could get away from this suffocating place and hide from Raphael, all in one blow.
