While I was riding Ellie, I was looking at the sword I had found and trying to understand the meaning of the writings and strange shapes that were engraved on the blade of the sword. Writings in a strange language and engravings of There were scary creatures, humans with animal heads, a six-pointed star and a triangle with an eye in the middle, but what do these mean? Maybe this is an antique sword or an offering, because in the past, civilizations made swords, jars, statues, and such objects using gold and jewels and offered them to their gods. Could this sword really have been an offering? But that wasn't the only strange thing about this sword. I don't know anything about swordsmanship and I've never held a sword before, but strangely I can use this sword very easily as if I'm a skilled swordsman. Does this mean that this sword hides a special secret in itself? It was almost noon now, but the weather was strangely not as hot as yesterday, it was a bit chilly, so I decided to stop staring at the sword for now and take a nap.
After dozing for a while, I fell down from Ellie and woke up and said with a confused expression. " What happened?" I saw that Ellie was standing and not moving. I looked forward and saw an area with several tents inside. I was very happy. It means that it is possible that there are other living people besides me here? Ellie and I went to that desert camp together.
It was a very quiet place and there was absolute silence everywhere. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. I expected to meet other people here. Suddenly there was a sound of thunder. I looked up and saw black clouds. It looked like it was going to rain.
"Hey, you're crazy, what are you doing out there?!!"I heard a man's voice, I turned and saw an old and thin man with long white clothes and a gray turban. The man quickly took my hand and the reins of my camel and took us inside one of the tents. And he came back and told us. "Are you crazy? Can't you see it's going to rain, why didn't you take shelter?" " Why are you so angry now? It's just rain." the man took a deep breath and said. "I'm sorry that I acted a little harshly. Please let me introduce myself. My name is Abdul Salim." "My name is John, John Williams.""Nice to meet you Mr. John Williams." "What is your problem with the rain?" "This rain is not a normal rain!." "So what is it?""Mr. John, please sit down so I can explain." Abdul Salim and I sat on the ground and then he asked me.
"You're not from around here, right?""No, I'm a traveler who lost my way in this desert. How about you, why do you live here and why are you so afraid of the rain?""We are nomads and in this We live in our tents in the desert. But about this rain, this rain is a dangerous rain, we call it black rain or madness rain." "Well, why did you give such a name to this rain?" Abdul Salim pointed to the outside of the tent and the raindrops that fell on the ground and said. "Look, Mr. John Williams, if you look carefully, you will see that the raindrops are black."I looked at the raindrops, and he was right, they were black like coal. "Yes, it's true, this is very strange, but why is this rain dangerous?""Any creature exposed to this rain will quickly go crazy and will do anything to kill himself and get rid of this torment."" How terrible, but how do you know this and is there anyone else living in these tents besides you?""They were living.""What happened to them?" "They were exposed to the black rain and became crazy and started killing each other and finally killing themselves, they all died."
A tear flowed from the left eye of him and he said. "Even my wife and daughter." "Oh, I'm sorry." "No problem, all my people got caught in the madness and death of this rain, but sometimes there are worse exceptions." "What exceptions?" "It doesn't matter much. And it's better not to talk about it.""Okay, so you live alone in these tents, right?""Yes, I've been living alone in this area for about a year. Mr. John Williams, this rain will not stop until tomorrow and going out is a dangerous and deadly thing, I ask you to stay in this tent tonight until this rain stops." He was right when he said that going out in this rain was a form of suicide, so I decided to stay in his tent tonight and maybe I can get him out of loneliness too, I said. "Thank you very well, I'll stay here tonight." He smiled. Abdul Salim and I talked for hours until it was night and I fell asleep.
Suddenly i woke up again in the middle of the night and I saw Abdul Salim standing in front of the tent door with his back to me. "Excuse me, is there a problem?" He said in an emotionless and cold voice. "The rain has stopped, but alas, Mr. John Williams." "Alas? Why!?"""Alas, you will not see the light of day again."Abdul Salim turned his head towards me, the pupils of his eyes had disappeared and his eyes were completely white. He said in a scary and thick voice. "Remember that I said there are exceptions worse than madness and death? I am the exception." Abdul Salim suddenly jumped towards me and stood on all fours in front of me, and then his mouth widened in an unusual and frightening way. His mouth was so wide that a grown man could fit inside it. I quickly got up and picked up my sword to defend myself but strangely I was suddenly pulled into his mouth. He closed his mouth but I used my sword to tear his lip and came out.
He screamed in pain and turned back. I quickly got up and took a defensive position. He looked at me and then a large amount of blood and several human skeletons poured out of the lip I had torn. He laughed and said in a horrible voice. "You are a simple and stupid child. I lied to you, my people died, but not because of the madness of the rain, but because of my hunger, even my daughter and wife."" WHAT!? You are a monster, they are your family, how could you do this?!" He laughed and said. "Of course, my family, but the fact that they saw the person who was supposed to take care of them came to kill and eat them, and their existence was full of fear, it tasted much better. I will always remember my daughter's pitiful pleas and screams as I was tearing her arms and legs apart but it was worth it and it satisfied my hunger for a while hahahaha."I shouted angrily. "Shut up!" He laughed and said. "I saved you because I like the taste of living food more, and now you too will suffer their fate."
He jumped towards me and I raised my sword and then in a moment I cut him in half. And then his half body fell to the ground and turned into ashes and I was saved once again. After the morning came, I decided to bury the corpses that had come out of that man's mouth so that their souls might rest in peace. After burying them I packed up and Ellie and I left and continued our journey and as I was traveling I was thinking about that poor woman and girl who were killed so painfully and tragically and I thought that This desert is much more dangerous than I imagined. I thought that if I was exposed to that rain like that man, then what would happen to me?
