A little later, her hair and makeup were done. Mirabel opened her eyes, looked at herself in the mirror and gasped. She could not even recognise herself! The makeup was minimal, but it highlighted all her best features, and Nathan kept her signature look and gave her the most gorgeous of all smoky eyes she had ever seen.

"Thank you, Nathan," she whispered, and he gave her a wink.

"It's my pleasure to work with such beauty, and I didn't have to do much! It's all you gurl… I need to stop calling you that. May I call you by your name?"

"Of course, call me Mirabel," she beamed at him.

"Ok, that is settled. Now let us take a look at the dresses here and pick one for your night!" They went through all of them, and one immediately caught her eye.
