Mirabel's statement of acceptance did not only affect the audience but the backstage and live production room became deadly quiet.

To her, it sounded as if Mirabel wanted to further plummet her reputation and that of the Trimshaw industries. As a die-hard fan of Jorge, she felt herself getting more pissed at Mirabel.

"I don't know about her, but if that were me, I would never acknowledge the rumours, no matter how true they are!"

"Of course, you would! Don't we all know you? You can even tell your wife that you are on the bus going back home when you're seated right here!"
