They Just Don't Learn (2)

"Can we go out tonight?"

"Why would you like to do that, young master Collin?"

Anne, the older woman in charge of Collin's early childhood education and also responsible for the fact that he experiences childhood while exploring educational concepts higher than his age, exchanged glances with Jake.

That was new. They were in Collin's playhouse. Collin and his staff had spent the better part of the days after his birthday cooped up in that house.

To them, that house was even fun to be in for the adults, so the child should have been much more engaged. Hearing Collin ask to go out was new for them.

To Collin's staff, they had never heard the young boy ask for anything except his parents from time to time.

So, for Collin to ask to go out, it was a bit surprising for them. Even Ali, who had been passing by, peeked in to listen to the response.

"I just feel a little bored…."

"Bored?"
