As soon as I said that, the long dented fin knifed through the water from afar. It was charging straight for us and that brought a smile to my face. Its eyes were fixed on Richard, who was quivering, which further stimulated the monster’s attention. His eyes grew wide; I could see it clearly reflected on the water surface. I slightly licked my lips when I saw Dy coming closer. Dylan also seemed to make way for him.

Suddenly, the long fin disappeared into the water. I frowned. I did not understand where it had gone.
