The Werewolves

Rueben laid flat on her back, looking up at a ginger wolf, who held her to the ground. His rage filled eyes were hazel with orange rim around the iris, his coat with bright ginger and sharp teeth were bare and barking words at the witch. Rueben couldn't comprehend what was happening so she laid there with the wolf's claws in her forearm.

But the moment didn't last when a bigger wolf pushed him off Rueben. The witch crawled back on all fours until her back hit a tree. Rueben's breath was harsh and her heartbeat was pounding in her ear. But her eyes fell onto the pitch black wolf. His fur was decorated with braids, beads and turquoise gems and faintly drawn on his fur was the witch's marking and she instantly recognisable him. He growled at the ginger wolf with authority while the tiny wolf looked like a pup against him. The poor thing trembled in fear.

The ginger wolf turned into a petite boy with pale skin, big white eyes rimmed with gold, freckled painted his skin while slumped over his naked body "we were looking for you, we smelt you on her" he said as two other people appeared behind him, a tall woman with big round glasses, almost bird-like while the other was a man, mature with a scar crossing his face "after the ambush we couldn't find you" He said as he stared at the witch.

The woman stepped forward "we couldn't find you or Savina" she moved her head to the side to stare at Rueben "we are sorry for the inconvenience" she waved her hand at the witch and the wolf from before, was growling at ginger again, and the man stepped forward.

His body flowed with calming air. "we were following your scent," the man waved with his hand and the intensity of the wolf stands calmed.

The wolf shifted into the man from her hut. He was stark naked with my marking painted on his muscular back. Rueben's eyes couldn't help but trailed down towards his perfect ass, which looked like two soccer balls. He was thrown a wrap which he used around his waist. "Have you found Savina yet?" he whispered as he tightened the wrap around his waist.

The man stepped forward. "we caught her scent on the west side of the woods," the mature man stated while the Alpha turned towards me. He kneeled and offered the witch a hand, which she ignored, and stood to her feet by herself.

The others stared at him, waiting for instructions "we will regroup and make our way west" he commanded the group as they listened attentively before taking off, he turned towards Rueben as his eyes searched her body "you left me in the middle of the woods on a gurney" he growled his eyes moved up the witch's body causing heat to awaken.

Rueben crossed her arm and cocked her hip. "I've done my duty," moving away from his overwhelming presence, looking for the leave when he grabbed her arm.

He didn't even look at the witch. "Let's go." Rueben pulled away, brushing his hand off. "They are waiting for us" he took a step towards her, but Rueben stepped back.

"Why would I go with you?" Moved towards him, ignoring his muscular chest. "I have my priorities. You find your friend and I…." A chill ran up her spine, causing her to stop. A feeling of regret, suspension, and fear ran up her back. The kind of fear settled between her chest like pain while her hairs stood up. Rueben turned her head toward the dark spots in the woods where an evil aura pulled. There on the side of a tree hangs a black figure with slick glowing red eyes. "Don't move" she whispered to the Alpha but he turned toward it.

Rueben felt his aura tense. "Do you see it too?" He gasped as she placed her hand on his shoulder.

The witch pleaded, "please don't move, it is sensitive to movement" she explained as Rueben slowly turned to the Ogya "I will distract it while you run" she began to cast a spell at her side but he stepped forward.

He grabbed the witch by her shoulder. "No, let me," he pushed Rueben behind him.

Rueben pulled his arm back "how?" she asserted as he was about to answer, the creature set his sights on the man and began sprinting towards "shit" the witch called out and ran towards the thing, ready to take it head-on.

The slicked back, glowing white eyes landed on Rueben's form, causing the Ogya to turn its attention towards her. The witch summoned her weapon by pulling it from her shoulder, geminus speculo, which is a double head staff with mirrors on both ends. Ogya shouldn't see itself because it feeds off aggression, it's greed. It slandered like a snake despite its frog-like shape, which was covered in reddish yellow sand and red fire burning in its pits. But instead of taking it head-on, Rueben ran for the tree and pressed her foot, running up the tree, then flipping and spinning around as the creature ran below her.

Landing in a squat as the Ogya attacked, the witch faced the mirror towards it and its body stopped in its track and the sound of shattering. The Ogya turned to glass and Rueben roundhouse kicked it into tiny pieces that absorbed into the ground.

Rueben was turned to face the man who grabbed her by the waist. "Good, it's gone," he exhaled. "What the fuck was that?!" Rueben placed her finger to his lips, which were very soft, too soft to be honest.

The Alpha grabbed onto the witch's arm "Ogya move in packs" they both turned towards the woods where thousands of orange glowing eyes popped up "stay where you are, keep your eyes on me" she took off running towards the other side of the field.

Rueben realized they were in a bowl, tree surrounding them. Rue huffed while pulling her body away from the dark aura which chased her. The witch eyed the trees while dragging the staff behind her, trying for a higher advantage point when one of them landed in front of her. It's shapeshifted into a distorted version of a wolf but it was too late to stop herself so Rueben used her staff as a bat, knocking away before pouncing onto it. It squirmed and squealed hauntingly before she turned into a glass with the mirror and smashing it to pieces.

Another shape shifted like a snake that grabbed her ankle as she began to scream as the hot sand burned. Before Rueben could hit the creature off, the wolf grabbed its neck and Rueben pointed the mirror in its direction. It turned to glass in his mouth and he threw to the other side of the field.

At the end of the field a swarm of Ogya began to hurdle up "get on my back" he announced. Rueben ran up to Alpha and grabbed onto his fur, jostling herself onto his back. The creatures swarm like waves, but all the witch focused on was how soft his fur was. She rubbed her fingers through it when he shivered. "focus"  he growled as Rueben shook her head.

The witch cleared her throat. "sorry, yeah" she turned to face the swarm. Turning those to glass that got close enough while hitting those who made it on the Alpha's back.

The swarm wasn't letting up. "What should we do? You are the expert," he growled over his shoulder. Rueben looked at the raging storm of sand fire monsters.

Rueben bit down on her lip while she whacked them left, right, and center, trying to think of a solution. but Rueben was knocked off the wolf's back, flopping onto her back as the swarm collapsed onto her. Rueben laid under the pressure of thousands of Ogya. The solution to this problem was to use her powers. She closed her eyes and began to pull sources from the burning sun and silent moon. The sun's pressure waved, crackled in her ear while the moon flickered in her mind.

Rueben Blasted the creatures off her scarred burnt body but all they did was reform and ran towards her again. Rueben stood with curly hair down to her waist, her cuts bleed with lava and her eyes were glowing. She moved towards the swarm of Ogya and they rushed towards her but stood dead still in the middle of the field. The Alpha ran towards her but she pushed him into woods and began swirling her hands in a rotating. The wind began to swirl around the witch and soon she stood in the eye of a tornado, but the Ogyas weren't effect by it; they jumped into the eye.

Ogyas piled onto Rueben again, but she pulled the oxygen from the center, causing the fire in their pit and eyes to dead out. Ogyas sand fell to the ground, and it was absored by it. Rueben fell to her knees, grabbed her sides as tears began to form. Her body had turned to its former state.

Rueben clung to her broken skin where blood flowed and burned "I need to leave," she whimpered with long curls still framing her face. The witch pulled herself up and heading for the woods. She crouched down to pull the leave which had a faint glitter, placing it into my realm pocket. She exhaled before limping out of the field.
