Renegade

The group made their way to the ship and flew determinedly towards the Metal Skull's nest. Every step was accompanied by tension and determination as they fought their way towards Mar's weapon.

As Roter activated the weapons, he picked up his radio and called Red. The voice of his ally rang clear and urgent in his ear.

"There's not much hope left now," Red explained with concern. "The protective shield wall has been destroyed, and the Metal Skulls will soon overpower us."

Roter turned the knob on the weapon, feeling a powerful energy building up within it. Stepping back to a safe distance, he prepared himself.

"This place is worth fighting for!" he exclaimed.

Red replied with a hint of melancholy in her voice, "We'll hold on as long as we can! Farewell!"

The group looked at each other, sensing the weight of the moment. Roter was ready to give it his all.

"Mar's weapon... the nest!" Roter announced with a fearless smile.

Filled with excitement, Sick urged him, "Activate it!"

With a triumphant laugh, Roter pulled the trigger. The weapon unleashed a tremendous energy, tearing a hole in the Metal Skull's nest.

But Zäck warned with a worried voice, "That will awaken them!"

Kliflie stepped forward, his gaze firm and determined. "Alright, let's get down to business!"

The group fought bravely, pushing forward until they finally encountered Kor inside the Metal Skull's nest. Roter, holding the Precursor Stone tightly in his hand, advanced with determined steps. However, the stone seemed to resist his touch, pushing him away repeatedly.

Kor greeted Roter with malicious mockery, "So you've finally decided to join us... and you've brought the Precursor Stone. Good. Now the boy will fulfill his part."

Roter resisted the words and declared firmly, "Not this time."

Kor smiled darkly and revealed a shocking truth, "Oh, but the child plays a crucial role! Especially for you! Don't you recognize him? That boy is you, Roter! And this place... you've landed here, in the future!"

Roter was stunned and stammered, "But how..."

Kor revealed the shocking truth about Roter's destiny, "You were sent back in time to gain the abilities to confront me today. But Onin was wrong! Now that the Dark Eco has changed you, the stone will never open for you. Only your younger self is pure! Only he can awaken the stone and the Precursor existence that rests within it!"

Roter was confused, trying to grasp the situation. "This stone is a Precursor?"

Kor confirmed with sinister satisfaction, "The last Precursor egg! Mar was very clever. He erased his tracks, hiding the egg from me and erecting the shield and the city for its defense! It took a long time, but today, I will finally obtain the last remaining life force of the Precursors!"

Unable to resist, Sick interjected, "Uh, I think you're forgetting one tiny detail, you metal spinner! WE have the Precursor Stone!"

Kor reacted with deadly determination and opened fire on Roter and the others. Terror filled the air.

Roter, in his Awakened Eco form, fought his way out of the wreckage and confronted Kor. Kor roared furiously, "Die!"

The group fought desperately against Kor, but their chances were minimal. As everyone lay on the ground, Roter rose with an indomitable strength. He assumed his dark form, seeing no way out, and recklessly threw himself at Kor. Although his attacks seemed effective, Roter had nothing to counter Kor's dark Eco.

Just as Roter stood on

the brink of defeat, the Precursor Stone opened for him, unleashing the full power of Eco within.

The moment of decision had arrived. Roter felt the concentrated energy of the Eco powers awakened within him through the Precursor Stone. Unprecedented strength coursed through his body, igniting a fire of determination in his eyes. He was ready for the epic final battle against Kor, the mighty master of Dark Eco.

With breathtaking speed, Roter lunged towards Kor, his movements fluid and precise. He used his enhanced reflexes to skillfully evade the devastating strikes and attacks of Dark Eco. At the same time, he unleashed his newly acquired abilities, employing a variety of attacks.

Flames engulfed his hands as he hurled fireballs at Kor, which exploded with tremendous force, sending him flying backward. Yellow projectiles shot from his fingertips, piercing the air and targeting Kor, leaving him little chance to dodge. Roter demonstrated an unprecedented mastery of the Eco powers as he whirled across the battlefield with incredible speed.

Kor let out a sinister laugh and unleashed the power of Dark Eco in a massive wave, crashing down on Roter. But Roter refused to be intimidated. He used his enhanced physical abilities to withstand the onslaught and countered with even greater determination.

With lightning-fast movements, he delivered targeted punches and kicks aimed at Kor's most vulnerable spots. He formed Eco blades of pure energy that descended upon Kor with impressive precision, leaving deep wounds. Roter showcased an impressive array of combat techniques, seamlessly transitioning between lightning-fast attacks and skilled defense.

The environment trembled under the immense forces unleashed in this final duel. Lightning crackled through the sky as the ground shook under the intense impacts. The battle became a spectacle of light and darkness, of fire and shadow.

The group around Roter, watching the fight with bated breath, could hardly believe what they were seeing. Roter's attacks were executed with such precision and power that even the most seasoned warriors were impressed.

The fight approached its climax. Roter focused all his energy and formed a massive Eco blade that radiated in his hand. With a thunderous cry, he launched himself at Kor, who struggled with his last ounce of strength to defend against the deadly attack.

In an explosive collision of light and darkness, fire and shadow, the mighty Eco blade severed Kor's neck. A spray of dark Eco flew through the air as Kor collapsed, a look of horror on his severed head.

A moment of silence fell over the battlefield as the group began to comprehend the breathtaking victory. Roter stood there, his breath heavy and his body marked by the strains of battle. But his sense of triumph overshadowed any pain.

Kor's head rolled to the ground, marking the end of an era of darkness and oppression. The group around Roter celebrated their victory and the liberation he had brought them. Together, they had achieved the impossible and defeated the tyrannical leader.

Young Roter regained consciousness and touched the Precursor Stone, and a Precursor emerged.

Young Roter touched the stone, and a Precursor appeared.

Sick stared in disbelief at the Precursor. "Oh man... a Precursor!"

The Precursor spoke in a commanding voice, "It is done... Our ancient enemy is vanquished. Do not despair, brave hero! Amidst the terrible darkness within you now shines a glorious light! We shall meet again..."

Keira and Samos flew in on their vehicle and landed.

Keira was in a hurry and called out, "We don't have time. I've set the coordinates to the past. Retrieve the child."

Roter turned to the child and said, "Hey, kid... Take care of yourself. Oh... and one more thing... Stay away from wasp nests on your ninth birthday, okay?"

Keira doubted her reconstructed machine and said anxiously, "I hope I've rebuilt the machine correctly. I don't know if it..."

Zäck interrupted her and reassured, "It's perfect, Keira, just like the machine in the ancient legend."

Samos addressed Roter, sounding pensive, "Now, I must fulfill my part. I have to take him back and watch over him. Oh, Roter..."

Roter replied, "Yes?"

Keira interjected, "BUT ZÄCK AND I WANTED TO LEAD A HAPPY LIFE IN THE PAST!"

Samos had one more important piece of information for Roter: "I have something else to tell you. Now that you know you come from this time, your deceased parents are not your real parents. Your father is still alive. He's supposed to be somewhere in the Wasteland. You'll surely find him."

Roter took in the news and agreed, "You're right, I will!"

Samos assured him, "Good. I'll take care of the child. And don't worry, I'll be back in time for the big party! Farewell!"

Samos and young Roter flew through the time portal, which self-destructed afterward.

Some time later, Torn and Red were seen sitting on the Baron's throne.

Brutter, the Captain, spoke up, "Your transportation is ready, my Lady."

Red thanked Captain Brutter and exclaimed, "Come on... We're going to be late for the party at Sick's new tavern."

Torn had a lot of work to do and said, "I have so much to do. Besides, parties aren't really my thing."

Red commanded with determination, "Attention! As the new governor of this city, I order the commander of the new Krimzon Guard to accompany me to an official event. Understood?"

Torn responded uncertainly, "Yes, sir! I mean, yes, Madam...! I mean..."

Red motivated him, "You can rebuild the city tomorrow. Tonight, we celebrate with our new friends. And Torn, I want to see you dance."

Torn doubted his dancing skills, "Probably not."

The scene shifted to Sick's new tavern, "The Indecent Sick."

Sick announced, "Welcome to The Indecent Sick! The hippest, coolest, most awesome bar in town. Don't we have some amazing new decorations?"

Tess noticed a giant trophy and commented, "Oh... What a huge trophy!"

Sick boasted about his success, "As if size matters! I took down that bastard with my own hands, baby!"

Pecker made a funny remark, "Onin says she doesn't know who looks more inflated, him or you!"

Kliflie reminded them of the sacrifices made to defeat the evil and protect the child, "We must not forget Vin and all the others who gave their lives."

Roter reflected on his past, "I still can't believe I was that little boy. Better times, huh?"

Sick interrupted Onin, "Hey! Lady, you've had enough. That's it for today! Yeah!"

Onin became angry and pushed Sick away with her magic.

Pecker jokingly warned Sick about Onin's bad mood, "Believe me! She can get really nasty when she's like this!"

Onin waved her arms around.

Sick curiously asked, "What did she say?"

Pecker gave an evasive answer, "Something about rubber hoses and your mother... You don't want to know."

Torn updated the group on the current situation, "You guys didn't just save the city. The leader is dead, and the troops are retreating."

Zäck pointed out that there is still much to be done, "But there's still a lot to do!"

The group went outside the door, where they watched the fireworks.

Kliflie made a wise remark, "And plenty of time to do it!"

Roter reminded the group, "Don't speak of time! The rift ring was destroyed, remember?"

Sig shared memories of his mother, "My mom used to read me bedtime stories about Mar... She would give me a glass of warm Yacow milk and my teddy bear."

Sick reacted surprised to Sig, "Bedtime

stories...? Warm milk? Teddy bear? And you were my big hero!"

Pecker gave a hint they received, "Onin says she feels that we will encounter Mar one day. He may be closer than we think."

Sig handed the Ruby Key to Roter.

Sig: "And you're our driver!"

Roter threw the key away and said, "Oh no... I've had enough of adventures."

Pecker pointed out, "Arrrrk! You never know what the future holds."

Red reminded Roter, "Roter, the future awaits!"

The group went back inside and enjoyed the rest of the evening.

The End.
