This chapter tell how Khun learn the story of Klao's life. Everyone think his memory and speech blurred because the effect of alcohol and tobacco that Klao's consumed. Khun used that reason to know more about Klao, how he turn from a cheerful child, to a bitter and rebellious man after his father died unfairly.
Chuay: "Khun Klao refuses to go to stay at the house of Ok Ya. Ok Ya agreed to let Khun Klao stay at this house which is not very far from the main house. If anything happens, they will be able to take care of you easily."

"Klao…" The bass was pleasant to hear, as faint as a whisper. Once again the pair of his black eyes caused a strange feeling in my heart. It was an indescribably familiar feeling. But the familiar feeling was so dim until it was almost impossible to understand.
K: "Wha...what..."
P: "There's a leaf in your hair."
He reached out and picked a piece of dry leaf out of my hair and gave it to me, and just realized that I stared at him. His eyes were stunned. He hurriedly turned his head to the other direction and cleared his throat two or three times.
K: "Thank you."
P: "nevermind"
