I feel like crying. Between the tension with Corey and the conversations with Adam. I honestly don't feel like I ruined my life. That is such a horrible thing to say. I am sure he'll tell my mom. It was stupid to tell Adam. What was I thinking?
I drive home. I feel like Corey is going to be pissed. We rarely ever fight, which is a positive.
Pulling into the driveway, I was happy Carly's car was gone. I see Jen in the window. This makes me happy. Opening the car door, I slowly climb out. It was such an exhausting day. I had a horrible day, full of conflict.
I walk towards the front door, I never realized how loud the house sounds. Maybe it was because I was already so irritated.
Opening the door, I hear Corey cooking in the kitchen. I walk straight into the bedroom. I am not in the mood to deal with him.
Once in the bedroom, I collapse on the bed. Adam's words still buzzed in my head. I'm not going to congratulate you for ruining your life
I hear Corey enter the room. "Is that what you're going to do when you get mad at me?"
"What?" I sit up.
"See Adma just out of spite," he answers
"Seriously?"
"Well?" He asks.
"He happened to randomly be there, and I sat with him.
"Okay fine," Corey says, walking out of the room.
I lay in bed for a moment before walking into the kitchen. Jen was sitting at the table eating. It looks and smells like Corey made mac and cheese.
"Jen, do you want to watch a movie while you eat?" Corey asks her.
She nods and walks into the living room.
"Sadie, I am sorry," Corey says.
"Yeah." I roll my eyes.
"I understand the Carly situation, you're right. I should have told her to stop or leave," he tells me.
"Yeah, you should have told her to leave. I don't like her, and now not just for stereotypes, it's clear that she doesn't like me."
"You know she is my friend," he tells me.
"So I should give up mine, and you, not yours?"
"That wasn't my fault, I told you I didn't want you to give up anyone," he responds.
"You got all upset about me with Adam today."
"That's because he likes you, no like isn't even the right word for it. He loves you."
"And Carly doesn't like you."
He takes a deep breath. "Your right."
"Every time she comes over, I'll just leave."
"No, I'll text her and tell her not to come over anymore," he tells me.
"It's fine, you don't have to do that."
"No, I don't want you to leave every time she comes over, she's not important to me. You are, and I honestly was worried about you today."
I smile. "I love you."
Corey walks over and wraps his arms around me. He kisses me on the forehead. "I love you too very much."
"I am sorry about today."
"Me too," he says.
