63. Love again

"There's much difference from wanting to merely sleep with a woman and wishing to make love to her."

"You talk like you—"

"Shut up and listen." She slaps me with her tail again. "I may not be a being like you, but I do have feelings. And I've been around longer than you and I know things." She says and she's right. From what I know, Lina has been in the family for centuries. How long? I don't know. She's like the tiger version of a greatgrandmother.

"It's clear as day why you would want to do this with her. Make love to and with her. Even a blind man would see that she's changing you."

"Really?" I ask.

"The hardness in your features have softened my dear Leo. She has done this to you. And you know it. You feel it, in here. She's there." Lina places a hand over my chest, where my heart is beating fast as it is terrified to hear any more.

"You know it. You are falling for the girl."
