Within the opulent halls of the empire palace, a sense of unease permeated the air as the ministers convened to deliberate their options.

One voice dared to mention the inconvenient truth: their own people had forsaken them, seeking refuge alongside the fleeing masses from other kingdoms, all driven away by the onslaught of the enemy's relentless army.

Yet, the chorus of denial quickly rose in response. The ministers, caught up in their grand delusions, clung to the belief that the empire was an indomitable force impervious to defeat.

They boasted of the hundreds of Seven Starred Masters under their command, their supposed guardians of invincibility. They boasted of legions upon legions of soldiers as if mere numbers alone guaranteed victory.

"Still, this is embarrassing. You kept brushing off the danger of that hellspawn until he came right to our front door! The world is laughing at us!"
