Name. Nakul Shrivastav. Age. 26.
"26?! How? He doesn't look a day over 22"
Dhiraj questioned out loud as he read the documents that Rajat brought over. It had just been 4-5 hours but Rajat was back with all the basic information about Nakul. Although that was something he didn't want to do, he was well aware of the wimps of his employer. He took a quick glance at his watch and realized it was nearly 8 P.M. Rajat sighed and concluded his sighs will only increase as more time will pass by since something or in this case, someone, had caught Dhiraj's eye.
Dhiraj was long engrossed in the documents.
Education...Oh!! he went to a school exclusively for monochromes....okay....university... his eyes scanned through the lines.
Current work place... Vibgor universal school...that's a reputed school. Worked there for 2 years. Salary... 6.24 lakh per annum net.
"52,000/- net?! Are they paying him appropriately?" he looked at Rajat eagerly waiting for an answer.
"Yeah. Not bad. He started working there only 2 years ago. Not bad at all." Rajat shrugged his shoulders. He just wanted to go home.
"Hmm. I don't want my baby to be overworked" contrary to his usual stern composure, Dhiraj let out a pout.
Rajat rolled his eyes. He took a quick glance at his watch again and it was already over 8 pm. All he wanted to do was to eat a warm meal and have a good night's sleep. But keeping in mind his boss's current demeanor he knew that was a distant dream. Leaving another sigh, he bid his cozy night plans a goodbye.
Unaware of Rajat sighs, Dhiraj was back at reading the document.
Mom...dad...oh! They run a small café. And he has an elder sister.
He nods to himself, glad that he knows a bit more about Nakul.
Currently residing at...
Why isn't there any mention of "that" though...?
Dhiraj frantically scanned through the documents trying to find what he desperately wanted know. He stopped after a few minutes when he concluded the most important piece of information he wanted was missing.
He shut the file and looked at Rajat pissed.
"What about his past relationships?"
Adjusting his glasses Rajat replied, "Sir, you know the information of such nature needs more time. I will get back with it in as soon as possible."
"I don't have that much time. I want it now. I-"
A call cut him off. It was the security personnel he had placed in the hospital to watch over Nakul. What could it be now? Dhiraj picked up the call.
"Yes?!"
"Ahh...we...I mean, he-"A pause. That pause gave an idea to Dhiraj that it wasn't something good. So he patiently waited for the shaky voice on the other side to complete.
"He left the hospital. He just left to visit the washroom and when he wouldn't return. We tried to check it. And he was nowhere to be found. We are sorry."
Contrary to one's usual response, Dhiraj lips pressed into a smile.
Ohhhh, he's a sly bunny.
"Should we track him down?"
"There's no need for that. I'll handle it"
Dhiraj smiled more to himself. Nakul running away from him only made him want to chase his babe more.
Don't worry baby. We will meet soon.
