Chapter 136

'I feel glad to see Renneshia got pampered by her fiancée. But I never thought that Prince Edmund would do something like that. But from how both of them interact, Prince Edmund seems to care about her because he must be feeling worried when watching her reckless behaviour. I understand his feelings because I also felt like that when I saw this dream.' Ludger thought as he remembered the dream that he had last night. 

"...ger...! Hey, Ludger Boy! Are you alright?!" Hudson called him with a worried face. 

"Huh?! What are you saying? I'm sorry I was thinking about something." Ludger quickly answered but they could see that his mind was somewhere else.

"What happened? From this morning, you seem to be unable to focus. Are there any problems?" Hudson asked while worried that something might happen to Ludger.

"No, it was something unimportant thing that piqued my interest. Just tell me what do you want to say. I think that you are trying to tell me about something important, right?" Ludger said while looking at the match.

"Ah, it was about..." Hudson whispered in an extremely small voice.

Ludger's face twisted as he listened to what Hudson said. "If it was something like that, it would be better if we quickly go to the alchemy guild. I never thought they would try to do something like that. You have guessed about it for a long time, right? Let's hurry and talk about it in that place." 

Both of them quickly left the arena and went to the alchemy guild. When they arrive at the alchemy guild, there is someone unexpected in Favian's secret Laboratory. His appearance surprised both of them because it was something that they never thought of. 

"W-Why are you here??! Shouldn't you be watching the Tournament right now?" Ludger asked with a surprised face.

"That was my body double. He helps me to act as if I watching the match to fool those people. Where do you think this kind of information able to comes from? Only our family with such a long history is able to have this kind of secret document. Because I was the person who gave you such important information, let me listen for what you are going to discuss with these documents?" Darius asked with an interested expression as he showed them the old documents he brought with him.

"...Teacher, I can't say no to him because he was the only person who has some information about the history of this empire and the race from another continent...I don't know if there's another person who will have such information in this country except for the Royal Family." Favian timidly said while keep looking at Ludger and Darius.

It was something that might put this world into chaos." Ludger makes an expressionless face as she looks at Darius' face.

Although he didn't want to doubt that Ludger was someone who would harm Katarina but after hearing that he was looking for the secret that the Royal Family and His Family had been protecting, some doubt appeared in his heart. He didn't want to think about it but to make sure that they wouldn't become enemy later, Darius decided to ask about it directly.

The three people in the Secret Laboratory look at his face with surprised face. But there are two different reactions that they do. The first one was Darius and Hudson who put a ready for fight stances. The other reaction is Favian who looks at Ludger's expression with a confused expression.

Ludger's body trembles and he suddenly happily laughs at their reactions. "Ahahaha..., I-I never thought I would be able to fool both of you. I really want to try to act like a villain at least once. But just for your information, she was my real birth mother. And the enemy who wants to destroy the information that your family has been protecting was trying to kill us. If you still doubt my identity, then I will show you my secret."

As Ludger said that, he used his magic to cancel the potion effect and make his red hair turn black. Favian eyes sparkled as he saw Ludger's true identity because he remembered what Ludger said before about the seventh attribute. Hudson looked at Ludger's black hair and rubbed his eyes to make sure that he did not see it wrong. Darius has a jaw-dropped expression at first but then his face shows an extremely happy expression.

"Hahaha...that dream was right! Hahaha...he has black hair! Oh my goodness! Then she also...Ahahaha...!" Darius started to laugh as if he had been crazy.

"Haa..., as I thought, it was too much shock for you." Ludger took a colouring potion from his spatial ring and poured it to his hair and turned it red like before.

Only when they saw Ludger turn into the appearance that they used to, were they able to return to normal.

"Teacher, so this is what you said as your secret! Then are you actually the person who created all of the spatial rings that you are using? Then can I look at how you create it? Favian quickly grabs Ludger's hands and asks him questions with shining eyes.

Hudson who just snapped from the shock asked. "...You...Is that true?"

"You are talking about the group of people who wearing the black robe, right?" Darius asks with a serious expression as he looks carefully at Ludger's appearance.

Our hair and eyes are too eye-catching so we hide them while looking for a place that is able to help us hide our identity. At first, I only stayed in this City to wait for Brother Winslow and Sister Ancelina's family before we continued our journey. But We started to love this City atmosphere. And I was also able to find a way to save my Mom from her fate..." As Ludger try to tell him about part of the truth, the words keep flowing from his mouth.

It was something that he had been trying to hide in his mind. But those secret seems to crushing him for some reason. As Ludger has been holding on to a lot of secrets and it seems to keep getting piled up day by day. Ludger did not know how he would be able to trust others with such a dangerous or unusual secret. That is why he unconsciously always wants someone who is able to listen to his secret. But Ludger still stopped himself from talking about everything that would give them a clue about his real identity like a defence mechanism. 

It was not because Ludger was unable to trust them but because he was afraid that they would treat him like how people treated Renneshia in the game that always appeared in the dream lately. Ludger didn't want to experience the same treatment that Renneshia in the game had experienced. It sounds selfish but Ludger has different opinions about it.

'I think my mind was much weaker than her. Maybe because I always have the people who like or love me around me...The more I thought that they were important to me, the more I felt afraid that I might hurt or lose them. Even so, I still feel glad that I am able to meet with them. Right now I am still unable to say which of us is better but. I think I treasure every moment that happens to me now.' Ludger thought as he remembered the dream that he had last night. 

"Why don't you and your mother start to stay with me in my place? I will protect both of you from everyone who tries to harm both of you. I promise you that I will protect both of you even if it will cost my life. You must know about what my family try to protect, right?" Darius said with a serious expression.

Ludger opens his mouth. "I..."
