A dragon god

"Kirin?"

"Yeah. The Kirin clan are sacred spirits from the Spirit Realm—ancient, powerful, and with a legacy as deep as ours, the Dragonkin. They're no joke."

"They're born with dominion over water. Any form of it—oceans, rivers, lakes, even rain—they can control it all. That makes them natural-born water mages. No, scratch that—water gods."

"And especially out here, in the open sea? Unless you're talking about some long-lost sea monster from myth or legend, the Kirin are basically untouchable."

"Even our Dragonkin, or the Inferno Devils, or Angels—we all avoid fighting them at sea. Because if you're evenly matched in power, you're still probably gonna lose."

"But…"

Cicero suddenly shifted tone, brushing it off with a lazy shrug. "But that's just regular Kirin. Nothing too crazy. The real monsters? The Sacred Kirin—Mythic Units from the Tidesworn faction."

"Out here on the ocean, the Sacred Kirin are known as immortal and undefeated."
