Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

However, it is not easy to take revenge alone when her enemies are countless. That is when Tang Jia Li gets the support of the five young noblemen— The Empress’s bodyguard, the State  Minister's son, the Prime Minister’s son, the Governor’s son, and the General’s son. 

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"If I get married to you, do you know what will be the biggest obstacle in my path?" Jia Li questioned Xianwu. 


"Throw some light because I don't know," Xianwu said. 


"Your father is my enemy. I cannot risk getting involved with you," Jia Li replied. "Your father is supporting the Grand Empress Dowager and if we both get married, then it will be easier for him to have an upper hand on us," she elaborated. 


Xianwu drew his eyebrows close. "You think I'll listen to my father," he said. 


"Of course. Your actions will be influenced by him," Jia Li answered. 


Xianwu countered, "You're mistaken. I'm the sole dissenter in my family. I've never earned my father's approval on anything neither I made him proud. His alliance with the Grand Empress Dowager has dual motives: to secure a prestigious position for me and strip you of the Crown Princess title. Do you believe that if you choose Jin Fengming, you can contend with my father?"
