Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

However, it is not easy to take revenge alone when her enemies are countless. That is when Tang Jia Li gets the support of the five young noblemen— The Empress’s bodyguard, the State  Minister's son, the Prime Minister’s son, the Governor’s son, and the General’s son. 

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"Why did we run away?" Xianwu inquired, the worry evident in his voice as they walked along a secluded path with only a handful of distant figures in sight.

Jia Li sighed, her expression conflicted. "I didn't want to hurt Jin Fengming," she admitted. "I didn't choose him, and if he saw me here with you, he might feel disheartened."

Xianwu considered her words carefully before posing another question, "So, do you plan to avoid him forever?"

A determined look crossed Jia Li's face as she replied, "No. I didn't want him to notice us today," she added, her eyes reflecting her unwavering resolve.

Xianwu knitted his brows together. "You don't need to feel upset for not choosing him. Also, he has to see us frequently together. Our equation matched, that's why you chose me instead of him," he opined.

Revealing the truth
