She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Revenge Of The Crown Princess

Wangjie after meeting the three ladies privately, headed to the chamber where the Grand Empress Dowager, the Empress, and his mother were present. He greeted them first and settled down on his seat.

"So, what's the decision of my grandson?" Grand Empress Dowager excitedly waited for his response.

He was supposed to choose Bai Hé, but Ning Hua captured his heart at first glance. Now, Wangjie was torn to choose between the woman he fell at first sight and the woman who would aid him in achieving his goal.

Grand Empress Dowager furrowed her brows together, thinking why Wangjie had not answered right away. Instead, he was seen in the mode of contemplation, which definitely puzzled her.

Hu Cheng, Wangjie's mother, thought to speak up. "Son, what about Ning Hua?" she asked.

Grand Empress Dowager frowned at her and asked Hu Cheng to stay quiet. "Don't disrupt Prince Wangjie's decision," she asserted.
