Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies.

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"No, I don't get it," Xianwu pronounced. "You are someone's daughter and someone's wife too. Yet all of them are behind your life. Lady Donggu was also associated with Grand Empress Dowager that night." His explanation caused Jia Li to contemplate.

"But I hope such a situation won't arise. Lady Donggu will not speak up because if she had to she would have done it long ago," Xianwu stated.

"Hmm. Then, you should give it back to Lady Donggu," Jia Li asserted.

"Fire didn't come to inform us till now," Jia Li said with a concerned look. "What do you think? Did he chase Eagle? I hope he didn't because you mentioned to him how strong he was," she stated.

"They are in undercover and cannot meet us at any hour. It's like a spy has to stay away from the people's eyes. The spies that the Grand Empress Dowager holds never once got noticed. So, that's how spies work," Xianwu explained to her.
