Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies. 

Before embracing death, she prays for one chance to change her fate. Thankfully, Heaven listens to her, and she gets reborn on the same day when it all begins. 

However, it is not easy to take revenge alone when her enemies are countless. That is when Tang Jia Li gets the support of the five young noblemen— The Empress’s bodyguard, the State  Minister's son, the Prime Minister’s son, the Governor’s son, and the General’s son. 

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Jia Li looked at the plaque, which Xianwu handed her. "I promised you one day the military will be on your side. Now, I'm the Chief General, so I'll ensure the military works for the good of the Tang Empire," he pronounced with a smile.

Seeing the plaque, Jia Li felt a sense of happiness and guilt at the same time. "It's yours, Xianwu. You forgot that your rank is stronger than mine the moment you held the plaque of my late grandfather," she stated and placed it on his hand. "You are a man of your words. I'm proud of you," she asserted.

Xianwu missed his father's voice saying he was proud of him.

"I have something to discuss with you," Jia Li stated.

"Hmm. Say," Xianwu lowered his hand while tightly holding the plaque.
