Tang Jia Li, the Crown Princess of the Tang Empire, was accused of the murder of her father, the Emperor. The same night, she was deposed from her royal title and ordered to be beheaded. When she attempted to run away, she died at the hands of her enemies. 

Before embracing death, she prays for one chance to change her fate. Thankfully, Heaven listens to her, and she gets reborn on the same day when it all begins. 

However, it is not easy to take revenge alone when her enemies are countless. That is when Tang Jia Li gets the support of the five young noblemen— The Empress’s bodyguard, the State  Minister's son, the Prime Minister’s son, the Governor’s son, and the General’s son. 

While embarking the journey of revenge, she gets entangled with these five noblemen, finding Friendship, Loyalty, Rivalry and True Love.

Jia Li held her breath as she felt his warm exhales against her skin, soon followed by the warmth of his lips.

She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

"Keep silent, Mei Xin," Fengming declared firmly. "I married you for real, and you're not going anywhere," he asserted before closing his eyes.

"But your mother will cry behind your back. She will not forgive me ever. You can have a better life once I walk away from your life," Mei Xin murmured.

Fengming opened his eyes as he chuckled. He pushed Mei Xin against the window of the carriage, thus taking her by surprise. "I have to use other ways to shut your mouth," he affirmed.

"We are given an opportunity to turn everything right. Your father agreed to let me go and–" Mei Xin paused as he pressed his lips against hers. She stopped breathing and blinking at the same time.

Fengming pulled away and peered into her eyes. "Stay quiet. I want silence around me," he stated firmly. He moved back to his place, finding that Mei Xin had finally stopped speaking.
