She pushed him away. "Xianwu, no more teasing," she cautioned, observing his amused smile directed at her. 

"What did I do?" Xianwu acted innocent, keeping the smirk on his lips.

 "Act like a noble man not an immoral one," she scolded him. 

"I believe in acting immorally around you," Xianwu remarked.  

Jia Li shot a glance at him. 

"Don't look at me with that gaze. It gives me an invitation to do more with you," Xianwu said.

Emperor Xiangwei gazed at Fengming, who presented the evidence related to his own father, telling how he manipulated the policies for the regions under his jurisdiction just to extort extra money. The yellow paper documents along on which prime minister's seal was present, held all the orders that Jin Liang had passed while staying in his position.

"That is not what I had expected ever from Jin Liang," Emperor Xiangwei said with a disappointed gaze.

"Your Majesty, I request you to remove my father from the position of the prime minister. It is the time when His Majesty shall appoint a new one," Fengming humbly opined.

"It won't happen today. But it will definitely happen in the court tomorrow," Emperor Xiangwei assured him as he asked Eunuch Yang to keep the evidence safely. "In the court, this matter will be discussed tomorrow. I cannot let it pass since the matter is serious," he affirmed.
