Thanks to that magic, she was able to deceive Sigurd while I decapitated his sister. Naturally, the guy discovered the trick; I felt a bit sorry for him as he hugged his sister's corpse, but they were murderers and planned to kill us. There was no other option but to break their necks.

Something inside me told me to run, so I grabbed Louise and Isabella and ran away. Then I ran toward Eclair to grab her by the waist, and at that moment, it happened. After pulling her out, the ground lifted, and the crops were destroyed as a huge worm, similar to a white snake with what seemed like red eyes, emerged from the earth.

"What the hell is that?"

I shouted, astonished at the strange creature that appeared. Strong lightning bolts struck the worm, and instead of being fried, it just got angrier. It was resilient.

"Why did no one report that a giant worm was the cause of all this?"

Louise, crying, said: "That wasn't reported because it never happened. This is the first time it occurs."

The worm approached us, and I shouted to the girls.

"Run!"

While I acted as a shield, the worm approached me, but instead of staying still, I dodged to the side, and the ground under my feet was swallowed. Its mouth expanded to the size of a small pool, devouring large amounts of earth. The crater was at least five meters deep.

The worm buried itself underground. I tried using sensor magic but couldn't locate it. The girls approached me.

I have to use the worst option to defeat it. To defeat Sigurd, I used something similar. Isabella was an expert in fire magic, but her magic was more like an incendiary bomb. Louise, on the other hand, was one of the few humans who could use transfer magic, which allows you to send your spell or magical power to others via a transmitter. In other words, Louise is like an internet router.

The girls were ready. Eclair cast reinforcement magic on me to enhance my muscles. Meanwhile, Louise held a red fireball in her hands that moved as if it had a life of its own. She threw it to me.

"Lion-sama! Catch!"

The worm was approaching to devour me; the red sphere quickly reached my hand.

"This is going to hurt."

Due to my blessing of rapid regeneration, I won't die. It will hurt, but I won't die. The worm swallowed me along with a large amount of earth, and then, as if I were clapping, I detonated that mini bomb.

Evidently, the explosion was so powerful that everything turned red-hot, and the worm was destroyed from the inside. I was coughing on the ground as the smoke entered my lungs.

I couldn't hear everything, but Eclair cast a rain spell over me to extinguish the surrounding fire.

After the flames were extinguished, the heat remained in the area. But since it was made of magical power, Louise gathered it and sent it to the sky. They pulled me out of the worm's intestines, and I rested under a tree.

"Are you all okay?"

I asked to make sure none of them were injured. They all shook their heads.

"I see. I'm glad."

"Sorry, but I want to rest for a bit."
