Rai canceled the transformation after Rena left the room. He was somewhat satisfied, and the thirsty and hungry feeling was gone.
His Magicule was replenished and increased for a bit when he checked his System Watch.

Magicule: 4050/15010
---
It seemed like half of Rena's Magicule managed to replenish around 3000, so her maximum Magicule was around 6000, which was a lot. He couldn't compare the feeling he got from drinking Ahri's and Rena's Magicule, but he felt like Rena's Magicule replenished more compared to Ahri's.
Maybe it was because their Magicule's characteristics were different? He needed to research it further.
According to the knowledge he gained from his transformation, the fastest way to replenish one's Magicule ways was to indulge in his desire. However, he had no way to do that right now, so sleeping and letting his natural recovery replenish his missing Magicule was the only way.
He had no idea how fast his natural recovery was, so this was the best time to know about it.
[Are you done?]
When Rai was lost in his thoughts about how to replenish the rest of his Magicule, the door was opened with a zap, and Ossa floated inside.
Turning his gaze toward the entrance, Rai's lips curled upward.
"Yeah. I don't feel hungry anymore. And I found something interesting about my ability."
[Oh? What is it?] Ossa chirped curiously as he stopped in front of him.
"The taste is different." He replied, looking at the spirit. "The Magical Girl's Magicule this morning tastes like milk, a high-quality one. She has more Magicule than Rena, but mine isn't replenished that much because of my rampage. As for the liquid Magicule I extracted from Rena tasted like coffee. A bittersweet coffee."
[Hmm, curious. That might be because the Magical Girl's Magicule is pure, unlike the Dark Magicule, running within almost the body of all members of our organization, Extity. The fuel and the core power were different. But both of them will be reflected in their Aspect.]
"Positive and Negative desire, huh?"
[Exactly.] The spirit nodded in confirmation of Rai's words.
[They use positive feelings, such as happiness, joy, dream, and hope to fuel their Magicule. While we use something negative such as anger, greed, glutton, and even lust to fuel our Dark Magicule. Maybe that affects the taste of their Magicule, just as you said.]
Rai nodded as what Ossa said made sense.
While he had the knowledge to use his ability implanted within his head, he still didn't know about something that wasn't in the range of 'How to use his ability.' He needed to investigate that himself.
Standing up, he stretched his arms up and smiled.
"Well, I can take it slow. I have a month to test my ability in peace."
[That's right.] The spirit agreed. [I said this before, but I will explain it once more. You need to get stronger fast to climb up rank so I can assign you some more complicated missions. For now, return to your room and prepare yourself as we will train tomorrow.]
Ossa's mouth curled into a strange grin.
[You will need that rest.]
That sounded ominous, and Rai couldn't help but smile bitterly.
'What kind of training is waiting for me?' He wondered. 'Whatever it is, I don't think it will be easy.'

In a certain Guardian School office, a silhouette of a person was sitting on a soft leather chair. The room was dark, with no windows, and the only source of light was floating hologram screens on top of the desk.
That person was watching the biggest hologram screen in front of him, showing certain footage of a raid that happened this afternoon.
The footage was about a talented rookie named Ahri. She was someone who held the highest score in the 1st Guardian School and was given permission to help an official Guardian with their duty.
Dealing with a group of minions that appeared in the city would be easy, especially since 3 other people at similar levels accompanied her.
But… that person's appearance was unexpected.
"Who is he?"
A low, deep voice belonging to an old man escaped his lips. The light from the hologram screen, as he zoomed in on a certain young man, flashed against his face, revealing his old, weary face with a gray beard and hair.
His clear blue eyes looked at the screen. When he was smiling warmly toward Ahri, Rai's picture was clear without any noise or blur. With a swipe of his finger, the screen moved.
It showed the black-haired man's skilled movement in dodging Ahri's attack. It was impressive, considering the beam moved almost as fast as a bullet. The fact he could dodge it easily meant he had a good sense or a high physical strength.
Then, the mysterious enemy also showed his wit to make Ahri lose her cool and abandon the formation to chase after him. She followed the code, but she was too reckless.
"He's not stupid, too, unlike most people in the evil organization. His goal is clearly to bring Ahri away from her comrades." He assessed the situation calmly and paused the video footage.
What happened next wasn't recorded. The drone following the team couldn't see what happened inside the building. Getting closer than where it hovered was also dangerous, as the minions could capture it.
"Ahri is still naïve. The teacher needs to teach her about tactics."
The man looked at the report he held in his left hand, submitted by none other than the girl standing across the black-haired young man on the screen.
For some reason, he felt like there was something missing from the report. The details of what happened inside were strange and incomplete. And with his experienced eyes browsing through many reports, the man knew Ahri still hid something.
But that wasn't that much of a problem because two important pieces of information were recorded in the report. That was the new man's ability and name.
"Devourer."
Whatever that member of Extity was confident of his strength or any other thing, it was impudent of them to announce their name to the enemy.
The man crumpled the record in his hand and muttered with a voice mixed with anger, "They are truly arrogant."
