Yetsune sits still, her gaze fixed on some distant point as her father's shouts echo around the room. The words enter one ear and leave the other. Strange though, his fury use to make her tremble, her shoulders drawn tight as she tried to disappear. But now, she feels no fear, no chill from his harsh words.
"How dare you visit a courtesan house?!" the King shouts. "Is this why you came to Aushasal? To behave like an uncultured harlot!"
"Calm yourself, please, Your Majesty. I'm sure she did it out of ignorance," the Queen pleads on Yetsune's behalf.
Yettiri rolls her eyes. "What's the fuss?" She mutters under her breath, crossing her arms. "I'd visit the place myself if I could."
The King freezes mid-rant, his glare snapping to Yettiri. "What did you say?"
Her eyes widen, realising she spoke aloud. "N-nothing," she stammers, shaking her head.
