Expansion and the fall

On July 21, 1969, a historical event occurred as the task of setting a foot on the moon was accomplished. This was the starting point for the evolution of human technology and greater thinking, as this historical moment showed that humans could truly archive anything.

Very quickly, a wave of innovation and creativity began as robots came into the picture. Metal boxes with small cube limbs that possessed supercomputer brains and strength no human could compete with They helped with the physical and engineering tasks that humans found dodgy. Slowly, humans and robots built the foundations of society as we know it. This foundation was a company known as "Steel and Fire: The Rising."

The first few inventions that the company had created were mechanised cops, firemen, and other supportive roles to keep everyone in check and safe. While that was the reason given to the public, in reality this was a move to seize control of society.

The company then moved on quickly and started to build advanced vehicles capable of flight and virtually unlimited travel without the need to stop, structures that could morph into whatever was needed, and more, as humanity became more and more technological to the point where, during the 2000s, space was essentially conquered with ease; however, this was also a time of turmoil and destruction.

Nearing the end of the 2000s, humankind unfortunately began waging more wars due to people working out the companies true intentions, stealing their robots, and not wanting to share the robots anymore. These sane people wanted to dominate the rest of their peers, as they now had the power to do so. Ego and greed were a terrifying combination, and together they could erase the world.

Countries began backstabbing each other and became wary of every action. Quickly, nuclear bombs were built, and death was the happiest it could ever be as the bodies dropped and nature suffocated from the depravity.

Finally, during the 3000s, people could not survive on the surface of the earth anymore due to the radiation and the monstrous creatures born out of the radiation.

These creatures came in all shapes and sizes, with varying amounts of modifications to their strength, speed, and durability, as well as some possessing special characteristics such as acid vomiting, crystal creation, and even rapid regeneration, for example.

Humans, in response to these creatures, built domes, and within these domes were cities. The technology the humans had at this point allowed for the manipulation of space in terms of dimensions, which meant these domes, though looking like they had a limit to how big they were, could actually be much larger on the inside, comparable to a country.

The people inside these domes scattered across the planet had lots of time and a surprising amount of resources still available, so they advanced their technology even further. Some people returned to their primitive roots, and others strayed from their humanity through gene splicing and horrific experimentation.

Not everyone had a lot of hope, however, as a rather small band of people known as the "life weavers" built bridges made of steel connecting one dome to another in order to meet family, unite humans, and possibly still head towards a utopia.

These bridges were circular in shape, much like a Pringles tin, and were made of steel. Along the walls of these bridges are glass windows that allow one to see the outside world; however, there is not much to see aside from death, destruction, and evolution at its worst.
