Interrogation's Betrayal

I drag him out of the room, down to the basement and to the torture chamber. This room has been used to achieve so many things and the number of people I have hurt in here is uncountable.

"Lucas, Alpha, please don't hurt me. I had no choice. They know too much and they have so much power."

I pause for a moment, studying him. The flicker of uncertainty in his eyes reveals the cracks in his loyalty, the doubts that gnaw at his conscience. But I won't let him off the hook so easily. The betrayal runs too deep.

"You had a choice, Ethan," I reply, my voice filled with cold resolve. "You chose to side with our enemies, to deceive me and endanger our pack. Now you must face the consequences of your actions."

Ethan's pleas grow louder, his voice bordering on hysteria. He struggles against my grip, but it's futile. He's trapped, caught in a web of his own making.
