His core

Gabriel

"We will camp out here for the night and then go back when it's daylight," I hear his voice, but this all feels like a dream.

The last I remember was those rogues ambushing me. I couldn't kill them all. They were seven and I was just one.

They didn't have the intention of killing me.

They wanted to take me back with them.

"Lucas?" I breathe out as he drops me gently on the ground.

I open my eyes and he is smiling warmly at me "You are calling me by my first name, you must be so out of it."

I try to push myself up and he brushes my hand away, "I don't think you can afford to be moving around…" His voice trails off as he looks at me up and down.

I feel my body as it regenerates, my wolf taking care of my injuries but at the same time, it still hurts like a motherfucker.

"What happened?" I manage, breathing. heavily.

I feel him brush a strand of hair out of my face "You are hurt, but you will be fine. I just need to give you a little bit of my core."
