"Do you want to tell me where you have been?" Olivia asks me with a raised brow. 


From the day I left, I knew she was suspicious and even though Lucas doesn't want anyone to know what is happening. I have to trust my people. Olivia and Elijah are like family to me. 


We grew up together and I can vouch for their loyalty. Yeah, a lot has been going on in the werewolf community and loyalty has been tested but this is not the same thing that is happening with Lucas. My people are my people and I trust them wholeheartedly. 


I am in my study. I just had a much-needed shower, in my own bathroom and satisfaction from being home is settling in. 


"It's a long story Liv," I manage as I take a seat at my work table. 


Olivia sits opposite me and rests her elbows on the table, peering at me curiously.
