The room is dark, I squint my eyes to get a clearer vision. Suddenly light flashes in the room and I see Emily. She is standing and it almost looks like she is scared. I have never seen this kind of expression on Emily Pierce's face before. 


As I continue to watch the memory unfold, I'm taken aback by the change in Emily's demeanour. She looks older and more weathered, her usual confidence replaced by fear and vulnerability. It's disconcerting to see her in such a state, knowing the strong and determined woman she once was.


Nathaniel's entrance into the room only heightens the tension. His reaction to seeing Emily indicates that their relationship has deteriorated significantly since the previous memory. It's evident that Nathaniel is displeased with her presence, which makes me wonder what has transpired between them to lead to this point.
