Chapter 7

~~Itachi's POV~~

"I'm going now big brother" Sasuke said saying goodbye to me. "Good luck!" "Don't worry I'll passed it with flying color" he said smiling. Today is the start of the chunin exam and I don't have any doubt that he will pass.

He still the same as ever but whenever time our clan or that name was uttered. His mood will shift to something full of hatred, I can't blame him, either I am. I hate even just the sound of his name. I can't even look directly to a mirror because all I can see is his face.

For now, I know that he have the mangekyo Sharingan, so he must be suffering to the same problem I have. And that information is enough for me to think that we have a chance to kill him. I just need to find a way to cure mine.

I read a lot of scrolls and even the tablet hidden in the uchiha compound. It said that I can cure my eye through possessing the eternal mangekyo sharingan but obtaining it is impossible. I can't possibly take Sasuke's eye or even his eye. I might be already blind by the time when we meet him.

I might as well and go back and read to the village library. I might find something useful "Excuse me" someone just approach me disturbing me from reading and to the look of it he's a hidden cloud ninja. It might be because of the chunin exam. "The exam is taking place to the building next to the hokage building" I said and going back to the reading.

"No, it's not about that... Are you perhaps have a eye sight problem" I was stopped to my reading and glare at him 'what is his intention" "hey, calm down I'm just asking and by the looks of you, I'm right" I just keep glaring at him.

"I figure it out on how you read that book... Its mild but I can clearly see that you squinting your eye, so it means that you might have a blurry eyes and the book you are reading is about medical ninjutsu"

"So, what do you want" I asked "you see I'm a medic ninja. Can I have a look at the condition your eye have, I might be able to help you" 'he's suspicious! "hey, stop looking at me like that, you making me feel that I have any I'll intention" "well am I wrong to suspect you" "well you have a point... How about this if I did something or even try something that you think will harm you, you have my permission to kill me" "Fine" I said "great then come with me"

I was sitting, while he's checking my eye. He then sit down and write something to a paper. He stare at the paper for quite some time.

"Your eye condition is quite serious. It's not a simple blurry eyes but your eye is slowly losing his sight" "I knew it there's no way that someone like him can-" "well this is great!" "Huh?" "I can help you cure that problem of yours" "it's pretty easy too" "how I thought that there's no chance for my eye to recover" "because I'm not going to take my brother's eye.

"Usually it doesn't have cure really, because your condition is where your chakra canal in your eye is slowly tearing apart because of a powerful chakra you put in your eye and it only happens when a ninja is especializes in ninjutsu that needs an eyesight, in short dōjutsu"

His way of explaining it to me have a all a point but I don't know how he can help me cure these eyes. "Do you want me to do the procedure now" he asked "you mean now?" "yeah, it not really a long procedure but it will still consumes some time" "don't you have anything to do" "not really, I'm sure my student are doing great in the exam by now"

'So he's a sensei of a genin team that probably taking the chunin exam' "If you can really help me please, I'll accept your gratitude and pay you back later" he smiled "this will take some time so why don't you lay down while I'm doing the procedure"

Sasuke's POV~~

'Damn it, all of my attack are not working on this psycho' "My name is Orochimaru, and we shall meet again Sasuke" He made a hand sign and his neck become longer towards me at a high speed.

But to my shock someone kick his head out of the way preventing him from whatever he's planning to do to me. This person in front of me, a genin from the village of the hidden cloud. Soon after his team mates appear.

"Are you alright?" he asked "uh...y... yeah"

Orichimaru~~

'Who is this brats interfering with my plan, I didn't even sense him, and for a kick to give me this damage... I cannot lose any more time I need to put a curse mark on Sasuke' but before I even have a chance. Some of the anbu arrives. It force me to flee.

~~Sasuke's POV~.~

"Thank you for saving Sasuke" Sakura said to the team who hep us. Right now they using a medical ninjutsu to heal us "How Naruto" I asked "he's fine, he will wake up soon" "tell me how could the three of you can do medical ninjutsu" Sakura asked "our sensei is a medic ninja"

The ground suddenly shake, and out of no where a three ninja from the hidden sound appear "they must be the ninja that Orochimaru is talking about before you three arrives"

"You two stay here, we'll fight them" one of them said "what! We're going to help you" "Sasuke is right we can help you" "no, it's alright you still recovering from the fight earlier" before I could say anything they just vanished.

It doesn't take them longer and they arrive again "where are they" I asked "don't worry we defeated them" 'I can't believe what I'm hearing' "oh yeah, what scroll do you need?" "a heaven scroll" Sakura answered them. "Well then take ours," "wait how about your team" "we'll forfeit this year exam" they said

"You can't do that" I said "we certainly can, and beside our sensei said that we supposed to take the exam next year, he just let us enter to gain experience, especially in healing a person"

"Thank you!" I said "No, Thank you" my eyes widen when a sudden memory overlaps to that person. "No, thank you Sasuke" "because of you we was able to experience something difference" "because of you I was able to experience being a big brother"

I sudden anger flow through me as I remember that man 'why did I suddenly remember him'

The three left like they just they are never there before "too bad, we wasn't able to asked for their name" Sakura said.

~~Itachi's POV~.~

I slowly open my eyes, and I can't tell if my eyes are really cured or not because this place is so dark. Where is that man anyway.

"I finished the procedures, that should do it, you're suppose to see clearly now once you epen your eyes" I was about to open my eyes when he stop me. "No! Don't open your eyes yet. Wait for a little while before you open it, ok" I nod "how do you know such way, is it something that was teach to the medic ninja in your village" "no, your condition is almost like what my brother have and just like yours there's no cure, that's why I study and research every possible way...and this is what I came up, I created this technique"

I slowly open the door. And this time I can clearly see everything. My eyes are really cure. I look around to that man not a far from me a saw him looking...at...the sky.

"Brother, you really like staring at the sky huh?" "I am, because don't you feel it" "what do you mean" I asked looking at the sky "everytime I looked at that clear blue sky, I feel the sense of peacefulness"

I clenched my hand so hard to that sudden memory of him.

"Oh! Hello there how your eyes" He said approaching me "it's great I guess" "that's great to hear...well I'll be going now then" "you're going to leave?" "Yeah I still need to meet my team and I know them, they might be already failed the second part of the exam, so there's nothing we need to do but to go back to our village" he said vanishing in front of me.

'I was about to asked his name...'

~~Hiruzen's POV~~

'The chunin exam is under going so that's maybe the reason these paper works is pilling up every second' in thought looking at pile of paper in front of me when suddenly a knock came.

"Come in" I said when a ninja from a hidden cloud enter "State your business" I said, he then suddenly show me those bright red eyes. I immediately made a gesture to empty the room of Anbu and put a private seal.

"Now then, tell me what made you come back to the village"

"ICHIRO UCHIHA"

"If you want to know who you are, you have to look at your real self and acknowledge what you see."
