It All Started With Love

Sitting on the chair close to Amber's bed, I reached to hold her hand. She just came out of the surgery room. Thankfully the doctors were able to stop the internal bleeding in her brain.

I don't know what exactly happened and who attacked her. All I knew was that once I saw her crawling towards me covered in blood, I just wanted to save her, to make sure she didn't die.

Her face and body are covered in cuts and bruises with two broken ribs. This isn't a random attack, this is a planned one. But who are they? And did they attack her to get me? Amber kept saying that she needed to say something but her body failed her and she lost consciousness in my arms.
