It All Started With Love

"Happy?" I heard Ethan ask as I was mixing the cake ingredients, I nodded my head.

The reason I was happy is because Uncle Ben called earlier and said that he would come and see me so Ethan invited him to dinner. I hadn't seen him in a while, I missed him so much. After all, his only family was left for me.

"Should we invite Jacob over too?" Ethan suggested and I looked at him suspecting that he was planning on doing something.

"We're just going to invite him for dinner. No games. I promise." He assured me and I thought about it for a while before I nodded my head.

Ethan may be a little manipulative sometimes and trick me into doing things but if he promised that he's not going to do anything then he isn't.

"I will text him," I said, signalling.

Picking up my phone. I texted Jacob and waited for the reply.

"You don't trust your husband," Ethan said as he wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind.
