Chapter IX: Meeting the Night Fury
John went to Hiccup and help him to get up
John:" You mess up."
Hiccup:" Thanks."
John:" Yeah, anyway why did you got distracted?"
Hiccup:" a was asking some questions about Night Fury."
John:" Like what?"
Hiccup:" How to get near one."
John:" Well in my saying there are intelligent so if you don't show hostility to them and give them some fish to show them that you are not hostile maybe they will let you come but to get that chance is 1 in a thousand. It will be better if the Night Fury is young, then you will have more chance to get closer."
Hiccup:" Oh"
John:" But don't worry does are just rumors. They don't mean that it's true."
Hiccup:" ok."
John:" You go ahead I need to clean here."
Hiccup:" ok see you later."
*Hiccup leave*
John stays to clean up
John was cleaning when he check his system because he hadn't checked it since he start the academy

John finish cleaning up so he left.

Hiccup approaches with a shield and looks over to see if the Night Fury was in sight he takes out a fish, and throws it he tries to approach but his shield got stuck so he leaves his shield behind
Hiccup grabs the fish and starts walking.
The Night Fury creeps out from behind rock. Sniffs at Hiccup and the fish slowly approaches, then retreats upon seeing Hiccup's knife.
Hiccup remembers what John said and Realizing the dragon feels threatened, Hiccup takes out his knife and kicks his knife into the water. The Night Fury relaxes and quickly acts friendly.
Hiccup:' So what John said turned out to be true.'
The Night Fury slowly takes the fish from Hiccup's hand, revealing a toothless mouth
Hiccup:" Huh. Toothless. I could've sworn you had..."
The Night Fury's teeth suddenly pop out of his gums and he snatches the fish, chomping it in half
Hiccup:" Teeth."
Toothless approaches, sniffing Hiccup
Hiccup:" Uh, uh, no, no, no. I-I don't have anymore."
Toothless regurgitates half of the fish and proceeds to direct Hiccup through biting and swallowing it. Hiccup has to do what the dragon was asking and takes a bite from the fish while the dragon was looking and had to swallow the fish. When Hiccup finishes he makes a smile to the dragon.
The Night Fury tries to do what Hiccup does and while doing this Hiccup tries to reach out with his hand to the dragon, the dragon sees this and groar at him and leave.
The Night Fury lands not far away and when he lands knowing that he can not leave he makes himself a warm place to sleep and when he finishes he lay down. Hiccup got closer and sit down close to him some minutes passed by so he try to reach out to touché him but the dragon see this and Hiccup got up and left
Hiccup didn't want to lose the trust that he was winning so he decided to leave it alone for a while

John was thinking about what to do, how he was going to get to his army because he couldn't leave because he was closely tied here because they took care of him, John only thought of only one way in which he could leave and that way was to plan his "death" and leave. John was planning his "death" after the Red Death's defeat a few months later.
John was looking at a map that was in front of him this map was brought to him by Johann
And he had another one which was sent by an eagle by his Spartans on the map of the Spartans you could see the land of Greece
The Spartans had traveled all over Greece because John had ordered them to do so and to mark on the map where it was a good place to build cities, etc.
During the exploration of the territory they went by boat to see the surroundings and discovered Antarctica to the south and the Northeast was the USA because they had carved part of it since there was no one there and he imagine that their land was in the Pacific Ocean the Spartans did not investigate the northwest, they didn't want to start a war with the locals
John was thinking that sending 20% of the army to America to conquer the natives, the rest had to conquer the other side to conquer faster and make an empire
John is thinking of telling Astrid everything so that she would not be sad when he faked his death, he was not going to tell the others because he knew that they would not let him go because they were very close friends and he planned to come back sometime later.
John had a book where he wrote of his soldier and city and his origin in case he died before his time.
John came out of his house and saw that it was getting dark so he went to do his things because Gobber told him that those who were in training were going to have dinner together

Hiccup was drawing a Night Fury on the sand and the Dragon got closer and look at it Hiccup noted this but keeps drawing the Night Fury see that he draw a Night Fury and he left to get a branch to 'draw' Hiccup in the dirt. Hiccup sees this and got up and starts to walk but the Dragon becomes angry when Hiccup steps on his lines. Hiccup sees this so he steps over the lines walking and being careful not to step in the line and finally reaches Toothless. Hiccup offers his hand to Toothless while looking away, Toothless finally trusts Hiccup enough to touch his nose to Hiccup's hand. Toothless snorts and runs away.
Hiccup sees that he left so he left too, on the way home he noticed something hiding he got scared so he hides in the back of a tree and took a peek, and what he saw was something that he never imagines to see, he saw another Night Fury but this was different this look like the Night Fury back where he was but this one has red color too on his body. Hiccup didn't make a sound because he thought this one was more dangerous he took another peek and the Dragon was gone so he left running back to the village
