Chapter 11: Out of Spite

Emily, Olivia, Ava, and Charlotte finished their meal in the cafeteria and walked out together. The four of them were dressed beautifully, attracting attention and becoming a unique sight at Cyberville College.

Ava suggested going to a bar, complaining that they hadn't gathered together for a long time. Emily had been elusive lately, but tonight was a rare occasion without any elective classes.

Emily looked hesitant, not because she wanted to dampen Ava's enthusiasm, but because she was currently short on money. She had planned to make some quick cash through street racing, but Boris, that old immortal, had tricked her, leaving her empty-handed. They could have easily split the bill for this occasion, but her pride got in the way, and every time, Emily insisted on splitting it evenly.

Charlotte playfully tugged at Emily's arm and pleaded, "Come on, let's go! This little cutie needs your help to fulfill her needs. Otherwise, spiders will be crawling through her pockets!"

Charlotte was always bold in her speech. Either she remained silent, or she spoke in a suggestive manner. The group was accustomed to her antics. Emily looked at Charlotte, who had a hopeful look on her face, and secretly pinched her own pocket. Damn, times were tough. If they went out tonight, she'd be left high and dry tomorrow!

As Emily hesitated, the scent of Mianzhi flowers wafted through the air.

Following Emily's gaze, the three of them spotted Benjamin. He waved at them with a radiant smile. Charlotte's eyes lit up, but deep down, she sighed, feeling that such a perfect specimen had gone to waste. If he weren't her friend's, she would have devoured him in an instant!

Ava eagerly looked at Benjamin and asked, "We're planning to go to a bar. Do you want to join us?"

"He's definitely coming! And he's treating us!" Emily answered triumphantly, beating everyone to the response. She then looked at Benjamin with an air of satisfaction. You made me spend money, so now it's your turn to help me pay off my debts!

Benjamin chuckled and nodded. Ava and Charlotte jumped with joy. Olivia was about to object when she saw William walking towards them from a distance. The words she was about to utter got stuck in her throat and transformed into, "William! We're going to the bar tonight, and Benjamin is treating us. Let's go together!"

William looked at Benjamin with an unfriendly gaze, as if he had thorns all around him. He examined him thoroughly and regretfully realized that he truly was a handsome guy with no blind spots from any angle. William initially wanted to refuse, but then he glanced at Emily. It had been a long time since they had a proper conversation. Lately, this Benjamin guy kept mysteriously appearing and causing trouble.

William forced a smile and said, "Sure!"

Emily sneakily looked at Olivia and noticed that she blushed and lowered her head, completely forgetting to go and fetch the car.

The bar was filled with the smells of alcohol, smoke, drugs, and desire. Emily's heightened senses allowed her to even detect who had taken drugs, who hadn't showered today, and who had recently engaged in sexual activity. This hypersensitivity made her uncomfortable. The mixture of various scents permeated the air, creating a nauseating atmosphere.

Benjamin whispered, "You need to learn how to control it."

In reality, there were William and Olivia between Emily and Benjamin, but his voice was low enough that they couldn't hear it as ordinary humans. However, Emily heard it loud and clear.

Emily turned her head to glance at Benjamin. He seemed completely unaffected by the smell. Curious, she lowered her voice and asked, "How do I control it?"

Emily's abilities were like a volcanic eruption, once released, they couldn't be taken back. Her sense of smell had reached an unprecedented level of sensitivity, and the same applied to her other abilities. Benjamin looked at Emily and thought that when she learned to use her powers flexibly and with ease, the day of her First Embrace wouldn't be far off. Perhaps it was better not to let her grasp it too quickly.

"Just experience it slowly on your own!" Benjamin replied.

Emily glared at Benjamin before turning her attention back to the menu. In a defiant manner, she ordered two bottles of XO. She scanned the menu and ordered the most expensive items, as if it still didn't satisfy her. She pointed to the young and attractive singer on stage and said to the waiter, "Can I buy flowers to send to him?"

The waiter couldn't help but smile widely. This large order today meant that the commission alone exceeded the base salary for the whole month. Naturally, his attitude became more respectful. "Of course! If you want to support our singer, you can buy flowers to send to him." After speaking, he handed the bill to Emily.

Without even looking at it, Emily pointed directly at the most expensive option at the top—the Blue Enchantress—and said, "Send me 999 of these!"

The Blue Enchantress flowers were not usually that expensive at a regular flower shop, but in a money-consuming place like a bar, they were priced at 199 each due to their exclusivity. Furthermore, the bar didn't have that many in stock.

The waiter's eyes widened, and he stammered, "M-Miss, we don't have that many."

"It's okay, just give me the rest of them in cash and send the remaining quantity to the young singer on stage!" Emily waved her hand generously, looking delighted. However, she became frustrated when she noticed Benjamin's indifferent expression. It was as if he was observing a child throwing a tantrum. Her impulsive and lukewarm behavior only served to irritate Emily further.

Worried that Emily might change her mind, the waiter hurriedly entered the order into the system. Just as he was about to leave, Emily pulled him back, and he thought she was going to change her request. "Miss, the order has already been placed!"

Emily snatched the flower order from his hand and ran her finger from top to bottom. "All the flowers listed here, 999 of each, send them to the young singer on stage!"

The waiter exclaimed in surprise but quickly resumed entering the order.

Emily glanced at Benjamin once again, but he still had the same expression as before. This made her livid. When you exhaust all your means to anger someone, and they remain unfazed, it turns the tables, and you end up infuriated yourself.

Emily grabbed the departing waiter once more. "Do you have princesses and young masters here? Pick the best ones and bring them over to us!"

The waiter's face was filled with confusion. This gorgeous girl even wanted young masters? With just a single glance from her, men lined up in queues around the globe. What was she up to?

Glancing at the other patrons, all of them handsome and beautiful, the waiter realized that there would be a swarm of young men and women coming over to strike up conversations in no time. However, it made no sense to push away money that was within reach. He nodded repeatedly.

Emily sat heavily in the booth, and everyone looked at her. This performance had finally come to an end, but what was it all for?

"I didn't bring any money!" Benjamin's eyes sparkled with a smile, his calm expression making it seem like he was talking about someone else's business, as if he hadn't just agreed to treat everyone.

"What!" Emily stood up again, her gaze deadly as she stared at Benjamin. "You agreed to treat us just now!"

"I'll treat you, you just have to pay," Benjamin smiled, his nonchalant demeanor only fueling Emily's anger.

But then, Emily grabbed Benjamin's chin, surveyed him from left to right, and clicked her tongue in admiration. "Hmm, not bad, not bad. If you don't have money, with a face like yours, you could sell yourself to those desperate, lonely older women who are like wolves and tigers. If you put in a little more effort, you could easily earn a few thousand in one night!"

A few thousand! What a joke! It was a complete humiliation! Benjamin's eyes finally showed a hint of anger. "With my skills, I can easily earn tens of thousands in one night!"

However, as soon as the words left his mouth, he realized he had fallen into Emily's trap. William, who had been waiting for an opportunity to interject, finally saw his chance. "So you're in this line of work! The market for this business must not be revealed, or else someone might steal your business!" Then he turned to Emily and said, "It's not easy for him to earn some money in this line. I'll pay for tonight's expenses!"

Benjamin seethed with anger. As a prince of the Lecenba tribe, he had been mistaken for a bar gigolo. He took out a black card from his wallet and slapped it on the table with a crisp sound. "I didn't bring cash, but I have a card!"

Now, everyone else was stunned. A black card wasn't something that could be obtained just by having money.

At this moment, the waiter had already brought a row of princesses and young masters, clearly drawn by the sight of the black card. He swallowed a few mouthfuls of saliva, wishing he could go back into his mother's womb and come out again as a woman.

The group of princesses also noticed the black card and eagerly surrounded Benjamin with smiles on their faces. Benjamin glanced provocatively at William, who had a look on his face as if he had just eaten a fly. Benjamin felt satisfied and pointed at William, saying to the princesses, "Take good care of him, each of you will be rewarded with ten thousand!"

The princesses swarmed around William, some sitting on his lap, some clinging to his arm, and some even going straight for kisses. They pulled out all the stops to please him.

Although William was a second-generation wealthy individual, he had never engaged in promiscuity. This was the first time he encountered such a situation, and he was at a loss, completely overwhelmed, allowing them to do as they pleased.

Olivia couldn't bear to watch anymore. She walked over and lifted each of the princesses one by one, glaring at them angrily. One daring princess who refused to yield took a step forward, only to receive a solid slap from Olivia.

The princess, unwilling to back down, was about to speak when Olivia pulled out her wallet and slapped a stack of money on her face, shouting, "Get out of here!"

The princesses crouched down and scrambled to grab the money, none of them daring to stay any longer.

The young masters watched as Olivia took charge, and they began to stir restlessly. What if they were unlucky enough to be targeted by this fearsome woman?

Charlotte glanced over the young masters, never one to call them "young master." Settling matters with money was not exciting enough for her; she sought the thrill of the hunt.

"You can leave too!" Charlotte waved her hand dismissively.

The young masters ran off as if they had received a royal pardon, afraid that if they ran too slowly, they would be called back. Once they were far away, they huddled in a corner, whispering and gesturing towards the group. They sighed with regret, lamenting the loss of such beautiful faces.

Charlotte quickly set her sights on a target, a young boy who didn't look older than 18. "I'm going hunting. You all have fun!" She stood up, bid farewell to the others, and gracefully walked towards the boy. In no time, the two of them disappeared from the sight of the crowd.

Emily furrowed her brow, detecting a scent of decadence from the boy. It seemed like he had just returned after indulging in some pleasure.

Benjamin knew that Emily had caught a whiff of that scent. He was about to speak up and advise caution when a strong smell of blood reached their noses. Both he and Emily froze for a moment before quickly following the scent. This blood belonged to Charlotte...
