14: Jealousy & Fantasy Books

As they were done having their breakfast, they were immediately headed to a certain hotel that Sabrina didn't expect to be coming to as soon as she came back from the States.

"Caine, what are we doing here?" Sabrina asked as soon as she saw the DEMar Hotel signage at the drop-off main entrance of the said hotel.

"You'll know soon enough." ICE just answered her and get off from the car and opened the door for Sabrina.

As soon as they did, all security personnel at the entrance welcomed them warmly. Sabrina knew the feeling but also knew that it was not for her until one of the hotel security personnel speak to them.

"Good morning, Lady Iolana and welcome back again to DEMar Hotel." the hotel security personnel said as soon as ICE opened the door for Sabrina.

"Morning, did he arrive already?" ICE asked in her cold voice as she walked through the entrance of the hotel.

"Intimidating." Sabrina thought to herself when she heard and saw the coldness from ICE as they both got inside the hotel.

Sabrina eyed shortly but it was enough for her to notice that ICE wore her favorite midnight blue blazer that has a fleur de lis lapel pinned on its collar and straight-cut slacks with a unique vine design that blended with its color. Her inner was a pastel grey long-sleeve polo while her footwear was a pair of skin tone one-inch heels. It makes her feet even more white and smooth.

"Yes, you're morning meeting was already having morning breakfast at the hotel's restaurant." the same security personnel answered respectfully to her while they were walking in the lobby.

"Good. On time, bring them to our designated meeting room that Joan arranged for them." ICE coldly informed them while she was checking her phone for any updates on today's schedule.

She even let her strong but fine jawline showed up as her hair was tied up in a high ponytail which made her more intimidating. Sabrina smiled at that but she snapped to what she suddenly noticed to herself.

"Wait, did I check her out? Damn, she's so handsomely hot." she wondered to herself since she really did check her outfit today.

But the trail of her deep thoughts was being cut off when she heard some giggling fans of ICE squeals as they passed by.

'Oh my god, she's a fine boss.'

'I want her to date me.'

'In your dreams, girl.'

'But can't deny she's very handsome and at the same time intimidating.'

'But who's that lady beside her?'

'Is that her girlfriend?'

'I don't think so. Our boss was too busy at her work.'

'Yeah, you're right. Not time even for us to fool around.'

"Damn, these bitches seem like they wanted to taste my slaps and kicks if they won't stop from eye-raping what belongs to me." Sabrina was totally pissed which made her bold to boil more and snaked her arm around ICE.

"She's being jealous." ICE thought to herself as soon as she felt the sudden arm wrap that Sabrina did to her arm. She doesn't mind it at all.

But ICE snicked to herself as she found the jealous vibe around Sabrina from the fans that she have around the hotel. It was a cute gesture to her but she didn't show it and just let Sabrina hold her as if she owns her. Then she just introduced Sabrina to them before they got closer to private elevator.

"Oh, I almost forgot, this is 'my' Lady Sabrina Marques and treat her well as you treated me. She's our guess from today and on. So make sure she's well accommodated and well-treated. I don't want anything nasty or bad will happen to her. Did you all get that or else you don't want to know what I can do to you?" ICE firmly informed everyone as she introduce Sabrina to the personnel of the hotel. She even warned about hurting her and it was making Sabrina blush from within.

"Yes, Lady Iolana." they all agreed with respect.

"Good." ICE only managed to respond to them as they both entered the private lift that was heading to her designated floor - her office.

Inside the private lift, Sabrina was not letting ICE's arm go and just huffed irritably which caused ICE to crack. She burst into laughter and Sabrina slapped her arms hard but it didn't stop her from laughing. Sabrina glared and pinched her ear as soon as the lift opened, she dragged her toward her office.

"Good mor-ning…" Joan was not sure what to say when she saw her boss was being dragged by the heir of their Marques family that she was loyally serving.

"Not to me, Joan. Her office where?" Sabrina coldly said and Joan immediately get up from her desk.

"Right this way, lady Sabrina." she quickly guided Sabrina to the lady boss in her office.

"Thank you, you can leave now." Sabrina coldly smiled at her and Joan closed ICE's office door before heading back to her desk followed by a heavy sigh.

As soon as they got inside, Sabrina quickly let go of the ears of ICE but she quickly send her flying by her sidekick. ICE felt nothing and just smirked at her lady.

"Don't you dare smirk at me like that." Sabrina glared at ICE who was still smirking on the couch.

"Why? Is it because you're jealous?" ICE teased her and Sabrina's glare turned into a very deadly one.

"So what if I am? Do you want me to castrate their boobs and eradicate their nasty horny pussy whenever they eye-rape you? I can definitely do that because you're mine." Sabrina burst and ICE's giggle turned into a sigh because she knew and felt that she was being honest about what she was feeling about it.

"And Caine, when I said mine, it only belongs to me and nobody else will get what belongs to me. Remember that." Sabrina grabbed her collar and warned her coldly but she totally mean them.

"Crystal clear, my love." ICE sighed because she can't do anything whenever Sabrina was being true to herself.

"Shut up and since when you became the CEO of this hotel? And why you didn't tell me about this stuff, huh?" Sabrina sighed and turned to another subject while crossing her arms as she took a seat beside her.

"Well, first calm down and I will stop teasing you about my fans around here." ICE sighed and decided to get her something to drink to help her calm down even a little.

"Fans…right…" Sabrina scoffed when she heard it.

"Sab, this hotel was rightfully mine that your parents gave to me because I'm the only one who can manage a fully securities hotel. It was the last hotel that your parents build and it was not a simple hotel." ICE shakes her head and handed Sabrina a camomile mint tea that was doing its trick even just a little. It was calming Sabrina a bit.

"Not simple? What do you mean about it?" she wondered because she got more curious about the DEMar Hotel.

"Dirty secrets, milady that I'm the only one capable of handling since it was my job to protect the entire Marques family especially you. That's why they gave it to me. It was the last resort and gift to me." She briefly explained to her but knowing Sabrina, she will be a curious cat on something that caught her interest to know.

"Resort from what?" she curiously wondered and ICE sighed because she was right. Sabrina won't let it go until she got the right answer from her.

"To keep the hotelier line of the Marques. They want to keep this standing without knowing that they were the ones who built this. That's why you don't have any knowledge of it. It was not indicated to the last will that they gave to you." ICE explained a little further but she still skipped something for the safety of Sabrina's well-being and normal life - maybe a normal life.

"But why you didn't tell me beforehand?" she asked since that was the biggest issue for her and ICE sighed again.

"Because if I do while you're dealing with the properties of your parents left for you, those people who wanted your parents' hotels will target the small hotels they built around here. And you know how much your parents taking care of their men who were working for them." she answered what she could only tell about it and Sabrina kept her eye on ICE. She was studying her carefully before sighing.

"I know it was not everything but I will take it for now." Sabrina let it go for a moment and waved her to shoo her since she knew that ICE still have some business to do.

As soon as ICE was being let go of her lady, she immediately went into her serious mode while Sabrina watched her carefully. Sabrina likes the professional and cold facade that ICE could be whenever she's in her own zone. It cannot be disturbed and while ICE was being preoccupied, Sabrina decided to read some books around the office since the silence around them was making her feel cozy already.

"Hmm, Babe, what book I could read while I wait for you?" Sabrina suddenly break the silence since she was starting to feel bored while looking at the bookshelves that ICE have inside her office.

"Hm, go to the collective series bookshelves. I have fantasy books there." ICE answered but not looking at her since she was focused on her paperwork.

"Oh, you've completed Harry Potter, Nancy Drew, Mortal Instruments, Vampire Academy as well as Bloodlines series…oh, seriously, even Twilight Saga you have it here?" Sabrina began to check the shelves and stated those titles that she was quite familiar with.

"Whenever I'm bored from this business works and papers, I read those books whenever I feel like it. Oh, I think another book will come here later at lunch, it's classic Dracula by Bram Stoker as well as The Phantom of the Opera." ICE decided to check on her lady and she was amused as she informed the lady about the incoming book that she ordered before.

"Wow, I'm not getting bored here. See you whenever." Sabrina started grinning excitedly because she missed reading no business-related papers or books or even magazines ever since she went abroad.

"Enjoy then." ICE smiled gladly that Sabrina was finally caught something interest her and she'll be preoccupied it till she get tired from it.
