Chapter 106: Family Drama in Asgard

Loki burst into Frigga's chambers, tears streaming down his face.

"Mother," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "I need to know the truth. Am I... am I truly your son?"

Frigga, who had been tending to her garden of magical herbs, turned to face Loki. The pain in his eyes made her heart ache. She knew this day would come, but she had hoped for more time.

"Oh, Loki," she said softly, reaching out to him. "Come, sit with me. We have much to discuss."

Loki hesitated for a moment before joining her on a nearby bench. The weight of unspoken truths hung heavy in the air between them.

Frigga took a deep breath, choosing her words carefully. "Loki, you are my son. In every way that matters, you are family. But... you were not born to me."

Loki's eyes widened, a mix of pain and betrayal flashing across his face. "So it's true," he said, his voice cracking. "I'm not an Odinson. My whole life has been a lie."

Frigga reached out, gently taking Loki's hand in hers. "No, Loki. Your life has not been a lie. Our love for you – my love for you – has always been real. From the moment Odin brought you to me, you became my son."

"But why?" Loki asked, struggling to keep his emotions in check. "Why take in a... a frost giant? Why not tell me the truth from the beginning?"

Frigga's eyes shimmered with unshed tears. "We wanted to protect you, Loki. We feared that if you knew the truth, you would feel different, isolated. We only ever wanted you to feel like you belonged."

Loki stood abruptly, pacing the room. "And instead, I've always felt like an outsider. Always in Thor's shadow, never quite fitting in. It all makes sense now."

"Loki," Frigga said, her voice firm but gentle, "your parentage does not define you. You are so much more than where you came from. You are clever, and strong, and capable of such greatness."

Loki turned to face her, conflict clear in his eyes. "But what am I supposed to do with this knowledge? How can I trust anything anymore?"

Frigga stood, approaching Loki slowly. "You start by trusting in the love we have for you. It has never wavered, and it never will. And then, my son, you decide who you want to be. Your path is your own to choose."

As Loki processed her words, the door suddenly burst open. Thor strode in, his face a mask of concern. "Brother! Why do you look so troubled? What has happened?"

Loki looked from Thor to Frigga, the weight of his new reality settling on his shoulders.

Loki looked up, his face a mess of tears "I'm not your brother, you oaf! I'm adopted! You can have your stupid throne and your stupid hammer and your stupid perfect hair!"

Thor dropped his Mjolnir in shock"What madness is this? You are my brother Loki. Who spreads such vicious lies?"

Frigga, ever the peacekeeper, tried to intervene. "Now, boys, let's not-"

But Loki, seeing an opportunity for revenge, pointed towards the main hall. "Some strange mortal and his two pet humans! They're probably still out there, laughing at us!"

Thor's eyes narrowed, electricity crackling around him like a knock-off Tesla coil. "No one makes my brother cry except me! Come, Loki! Let us teach these mortals the folly of messing with the sons of Odin!"

As Thor stormed out, Loki couldn't help but smile through his tears. Maybe he wasn't adopted after all... or maybe he just really wanted to see Thor get his godly butt kicked by the strange mortal. Or the arrogant mortal would get his ass kicked.

Either way, chaos was about to reign in Asgard, and for once, Loki wasn't the one causing it. He almost felt proud.

'I will still have the throne brother. I would not let an oaf like you sit on it.' Loki made a resolution in his heart as he followed behind Thor.

Frigga watched her sons leave, shaking her head. "I knew we should have gone with family therapy instead of all those hunting trips," she muttered, reaching for her emergency stash of Midgardian wine.

"Frigga, Remind me why did we decide to have kids after Hela?" Odin walked in as he said that, he was clad in his battle armor with Gungnir in hand.

"It is no time for this, dear husband. Tell me, why do I sense someone with Chaos magic on Asgard besides me and why is there someone with such a powerful soul with her? Were they the ones that told Loki the truth?" Frigga asked

"I believe so that they were the ones who spread this chaos. Well, Heimdall told me that It was Loki who first tried to stab the humans. So it's not like he is guilt free." Odin said

Frigga's magic stirred "You know that you are not match for that human with the power soul right. In your prime, You might have taken him on but now you barely hold on before you go to Odin sleep. Do you need my help?"

Frigga words while hurt Odin was the truth. He knew that but it still hurt to know that he was past his prime and in his Twilight years.

"No need for that. I am just preparing for the worst. The humans don't seem to have any ill intentions thus far. In fact, I think that the human and Loki might be related somehow, seeing how the two shared a similar nature." As Odin said that, Frigga let out a chuckle.
