Star's Ships

There was an annoying buzz in my ear, forcing me to wake up out of dead sleep. I wasn't one for nightmares, but remembering that girl left me restless all night long.

Sitting up, I let out a sigh. Life's a bitch, and then you die, might as well live while you are alive.

My brain, already moving on from whatever had woken me up, was snapped back to the matter at hand… the annoying buzzing.

"Jun Li?" I asked, not too sure what was going on. It sounded almost like a ham radio trying to connect.

"Yes?" answered Jun Li through my earpiece. Thank God the buzzing went away as soon as he answered. I was starting to worry that I was getting tinnitus, but that was more ringing in the ears and not so much buzzing.

"Nothing, just wondering what the buzzing was," I said sleepily. Falling back onto my pillow, I pulled the covers up to my chin.
