The Silent Love

In the depths of my heart, a love so pure, known only to me,

Unspoken words of adoration are kept hidden, never set free.

With every fiber of my being, I loved him deeply and truly,

No demands for rights, no pleas, my love silently grew.

As he basked in the glow of success, a smile adorned his face,

Throngs of admirers gathered, cheering him in every place.

But from afar, a shadow of concern clouded his mind,

Unknown to him, my love for him was one of a kind.

No one knows the depth of my love, unwavering and true,

Yet, I earnestly wish for him to find a wife, a love anew.

For in my heart, I hold his happiness above all,

A selfless love that silently stands tall.
