Poems of Yearning

In the depths of my heart, words penned with care,

To a soulmate unseen, a connection rare.

Across the expanse, I cast my gaze above,

Seeking solace in the sky, a sign of love.

With every verse, I long for a reply,

A whisper in the wind, a celestial sigh.

Knowing deep within, silence may persist,

Yet I pour my heart into each word, love's gist.

Is love so mighty, it moves me this way,

To seek solace in poems, day after day?

Yearning for a presence, a comforting touch,

Yet finding solace in the absence, oh, how much!

Amidst doubt's shadows, I question my mind,

Am I chasing illusions, leaving reason behind?

But in the depths of my soul, I find solace anew,

For love knows no boundaries, it's both mad and true.

So I'll continue to write, to pour my heart out,

For even in silence, there's a flicker, no doubt.

These poems of yearning, a testament to the fire,

Burning within, fueled by love's desire.

And if one day, our paths intertwine,

These poems shall stand as a bridge, divine.

For in the realm of love, no distance can sever,

The connection we share, an eternal endeavor.
