Each morning, I awaken with a smile aglow,
A new day beckons and work's rivers ebb and flow.
Melodies weave through, a balm for my mind,
Yet a question arises, weariness I find.
Should I halt, surrender to fatigue's embrace?
But duty's call, my steps it still does trace,
Even if no ear captures sorrow's song,
Within my heart, my strength remains strong.
While dreams of marriage fill other hearts, it's true,
My aspirations differ, a path less pursued.
To lift my parents from burdens that weigh,
I march on, a lone traveler, in night and day.
A thousand dreams unfurl, like stars they gleam,
A girl among them, chasing her own dream.
Some may jest, "Who claims you, dear?"
As if a woman's worth needs an owner near.
But I yearn for freedom, a breath unconfined,
I persist, for I know my purpose is enshrined.
The road may be rugged, challenges unknown,
Yet unflinching, I journey forth on my own.
