"Yes, I've come to apologize," he said in a soft voice.
Mrs. Qin sneered. "What's the point of apologizing now? You've already made a mess of everything."
Mr. Qin shook his head. "You're too soft, Qin Feng. That's why you've always been a disappointment."
Qin Feng nodded like he agreed, but inside, he was already planning how to tear them apart.
"You're right," he said. "I've been foolish. I should've listened to you."
They both looked surprised.
They weren't used to Qin Feng being so obedient. But they didn't know this was all part of his plan.
"I'll make it up to you," Qin Feng continued.
"I'll do whatever you need. I'll prove that I'm worthy of the Qin family name."
Mrs. Qin raised an eyebrow.
"We'll see," she said, crossing her arms. "But don't think we've forgiven you."
Qin Feng just smiled.
"Of course. I wouldn't expect forgiveness so easily."
And so, Qin Feng started doing tasks for them.
