The Identity

Tyson after asking Elan's actual identity,

Elan replies, "I'm not an ordinary dog. I was happily living with all my friends in a stray shelter called 'The Paw Shelter'. Last night, our owner went out to pick some new dogs to our shelter. But just as he went out, some random guy in a black mask threw something which made us unconscious. Later, when we woke up, we were in some weird looking laboratory. There was a mad scientist who did some experiments on all of us. That experiment made all of us turn into something of a super dog, but in a wild way."

Tyson asks surprisingly, "But, how did you get out of the laboratory."

Elan replies, "The guy who picked us up from the shelter had accidentally opened the glass barrier when I was in it. But, for some reason I had no control on what I was doing. I ran away from them towards the streets, but some truck crashed into me."

Tyson says, "Okay, I have like a million questions right now."

Elan says, "I get it kid, you're overwhelmed right now."

Tyson says, "Kid?! I'm 35 years old, I ain't a kid!"

Elan asks, "Would you rather be called an old man?"

Tyson replies, "Um... no, I ain't an old man!"

Elan says, "Thought so."

Tyson asks, "But, how come you're the only dog who didn't turn wild?"

Elan replies, "I don't know. I am probably still wild, but I am not turning into a wild dog as I have control over my mind. Which a lot of the other dogs don't."

Tyson asks, "So, what are you gonna now?"

Elan replies, "I have got a mission to do, but I can't complete it alone, I need you to help me."

Tyson freaks out and says, "What?! are you crazy? I can't help you, you're a stranger... uh dog... Besides, I have gotta concentrate on my boxing work."

Elan pleases Tyson, "Listen kid, I can't go out in this world alone, I may be captured and there a lot of dogs out there which need my help. They will be used for many wrong purposes, which may lead to a crisis. I am begging you, please help me."

Tyson thinks for a while and says, "Okay, but first we gotta go back to your shelter, there may already be a police case filed on your shelter for missing dogs."

Elan nods and says, "Alright, let's go."

Then, the both of them go to the shelter. Just as they reach there, Tyson looks surprised to see the empty shelter. Not a single soul present inside the shelter. Just as they walk to the back of the shelter, they find the owner of the paw shelter on the ground covered with blood. Tyson looks stunned at the body, "Oh, good lord! Who is he?" cries Tyson.

Elan doesn't seem to reply, he goes towards the body and licks the owner's face. He looks down with a sad face, he closes his eyes and lies down beside him. Then Tyson asks again, "Hey Elan, who is he?"

Elan replies, "That's my owner, He always loved every single one of us with all of his heart. He never discriminated even one of us. I can't see him like this."

Tyson says, "Oh, um... I'm... I'm sorry to hear that."

Elan opens his eyes and stands up. He says with anger in his eyes, "Whoever is behind this, I'm gonna make them pay!!"

Tyson asks, "Do you remember the place where they toom you?"

Elan replies, "I felt like I was possessed, I don't remember where I was taken. But, I do know that it was underground, and it was far away from the city."

Tyson says helplessly, "Well, an underground laboratory can be anywhere. We need more information than that."

Elan sighs and closes his eyes. Then, Tyson asks Elan,

"Well, do you remember how many of you were there?"

Elan says, "I don't know, as far as I remember there were many of us."

Then, Tyson enters the shelter and checks the entry book. Tyson reads out that there were 35 dogs in total including Elan.

Elan then replies, "So, I guess... they might need more number of dogs." Tyson asks, "Are you the first group of dogs to be kidnapped?" Elan says, "I don't know. He looked pretty afraid and was talking like we were the first ones to be experimented."

Tyson says, "If y'all are the first group of dogs to be kidnapped, I guess they might plan to kidnap more number of dogs from another shelter tonight as well." Elan says, "Yeah, we gotta have our eye on all the dog shelters throughout the city." Tyson says, "Yeah... it's gonna be a hell of a process." He says that and just as they head out, Tyson looks at the CCTV camera. He says, "Hey look! there's a CCTV camera, I guess we can check it out."

Tyson turns on the computer and checks for the pre-recorded CCTV files. He opens the previous day footage and fast forwards it to night 9:15 P.M. He checks the footage and then he looks at the Charles who throws a tranquilizer bomb which makes the dogs unconscious. He then opens the dog gates and gets all the dogs into the truck. Tyson then says, "There he is! that's the person we need to find! If we probably give this footage to the cops and raise a complaint on him. Maybe we can find him."

Tyson then rewinds the footage to the morning and increases the speed. He then pauses at afternoon 1:45 P.M, when Albert visits the shelter and enquires about the dogs and acts like a donator. Tyson increases the volume of the computer and listens to Albert's words,

Albert enters the shelter and greets the owner,

"Hello Sir! How are you doing? Is this your Dog shelter?"

The owner replies, "Hi sir! welcome to 'The Paw Shelter'. Yes, this shelter is mine."

Albert then enquires, "I am looking forward to donate some supplies to these dogs, how many dogs are there over here?"

The owner replies, "That would be great sir! there are 34 adult dogs and 1 puppy!"

Albert mischievously smiles and says, "Oh great! I will bring a few presents to these dogs tonight. Is that okay?"

The owner says, "Sure sir, thanks a lot!"

Albert then gives a glance at the dogs and leaves.

Tyson watches the bit and says, "So, that moron must be the scientist." Elan then says, "We need to check on as many shelters as possible and stop him."

Tyson says, "So, we'll just go to the police station and show them this clip."

Elan agrees and they both go to the police station.

They show the clip to the cops and ask them for help. The cops say, "We'll look into it. We'll let you know if we find this person."

Tyson then says, "Sir, is there any nearby dog shelter that you know?"

The cop says, "Yeah, there are a few shelters outside the block."

Tyson then thanks the cop and they both go to the dog shelters nearby. They show the dog shelter owners the clip and ask them if there was anyone with the same appearance as Albert. They both search for many shelters and then after close to 20 dog shelters, they decide to visit the final dog shelter and enquire them, and finally the owner says, "Yes sir, this man came to our shelter 3 days ago and he enquired for the dog count in our shelter. He said he'd donate some supplies last night, but he didn't come." Tyson says, "Sir! this person is a mad scientist, he is trying to kidnap dogs and use them for an experiment. I suggest you keep extra protection for this shelter. I will take care of this shelter, please let me know if something suspicious takes place."

The owner nods and thanks Tyson.

Tyson and Elan leave the shelter.

Tyson says, "Finally! we've found the next target that he is aiming for."

Then Elan says, "Yeah, but why did he not kidnap until 3 days?" He adds, "Anyways, we need to be careful and we have to stop him no matter what!"
