Chapter 9 – Taking Care of Kichi

Third person pov

Not long after, Kichi and Kiba arrived at Kichi's designated dorm room. Kiba then used a key to open the door, revealing a custom-made interior made specifically for Kichi. The interior was decorated with Filipino colors and themes, including a Filipino melee weapon at the weapons section. The big room consisted of the living room and dining room, and there are separate kitchen and bedroom, except that the bedroom has a door while the kitchen doesn't.

Upon seeing the interior, Kichi was amazed, commenting, "Woah, is this mine?"

"Yes," answered Kiba back. "This will be your room."

Then, Catalina came last, panting for breath because of the bulkiness of Kichi's belongings.

Kichi and Kiba heard this, and they turned to the left.

"Why…Why are these so heavy?" Catalina complained. "What did you pack in these things?"

"Uh, it's mostly clothes and books," Kichi answered back. "Sorry about that."

"Put them inside," Kiba said to Catalina.

Catalina did so, and she put them next to the coffee table.

"Here's your pieces of junk," she said to Kichi. "I'll be going now."

She was about to leave the scene when Kiba told her to take care of Kichi for the rest of the day.

This shocks the prideful British girl a lot.

"Do I have to?" she complained in response.

"Hey, he can't use his right arm, remember?" Kiba explained with reminding. "You had to take care of him, especially on meal times."

"Really? Do I need to be in the shower and be in his bed?" Catalina responded back.

"No, you don't need to," Kiba replied back. "Only at meal times and opening doors and getting the things he needed."

Then, Kichi interfered and responded, "Um, I can use my left hand, too. You know, to open the door and get things."

Kiba and Catalina then glanced at him, and Kiba asked back, "Are you sure about that? You might have a hard time."

"Don't worry, Kiba-san," Kichi reassured in response. "I can do that, except in eating."

"I see. Okay then."

Kiba then looked at Catalina and said to her, "You know what to do."

Eventually, Catalina sighed in annoyance and replied, "Fine!"

After that, Kichi bowed his head at Kiba for a few seconds and responded, "Thank you so much."

"You're welcome," Kiba replied back, before handing the key to Kichi and left the scene.

After that, Catalina asked Kichi if he had any food.

"Well, I do have some in my backpack," Kichi answered back. "There are some chicken and rice I bought at the airport in Vietnam. Can you get it? I'm hungry."

Catalina did so, and get a small box of cold food from Kichi's black and grey backpack, before going back to Kichi, who was sitting at the dining room. After getting the plastic spoon, Catalina sat down, takes a scoop of rice and chicken nuggets, pointed it at Kichi, and said, "Open your mouth."

She did this despite her prideful attitude, but she had to do this for Kichi's sake.

Kichi then opened his mouth, and Catalina shoved the spoonful into it, before pulling the spoon out to get some more as Kichi chewed the food.

"Man, that was so delicious," Kichi commented blissfully. "I can't believe they make food that delicious food."

"Oh really?" Catalina retorted back. "Even though it's been hours and it's now cold?"

"That's fine," Kichi responded, before swallowing the food and opened his mouth.

Catalina then shoved the spoon into his mouth, before Kichi would grab the spoonful of food with his mouth. Catalina then pulled the spoon out and repeated the same procedure until she ran out of rice and chicken nuggets.

2 minutes later, Kichi was now drinking a bottle of mineral water using his left hand. Catalina has opened the cap for him.

"You're now full?" Catalina asked while crossing her arms.

Putting down the water bottle on the table, Kichi replied, "Yes, thank you."

This follows with a short silence.
